@seekjustice @valtmy Sorry for kind of disappearing! I didn’t really go anywhere, it’s just that Valtmy gave me a great idea for a very short story and I got caught up in writing it and forgot to post for a while. 🙂

Thanks! That was a nice article. I guess I can think of this scene as a… fireside chat scene. Without the fireside or the chat. 😀

Yes I suppose that makes sense. Thanks! (now I’m imagining my character doing cooking and it, uh, doesn’t feel too right).
The scene is written from my side character’s POV and my MC is not even there at all (they haven’t met yet) so the purpose of the scene is foreshadowing to introduce a character and an element that my MC will…[Read more]

@seekjustice Mm, sounds good! I love Chinese food, but it gives me a stomachache, so…there’s always that balance when I have the chance to eat it. 😛 Oh, pasta is also a dish we eat a lot. Mostly when my dad isn’t home, though, since he thinks pasta is bland. 😉 My mom makes a good spicy lasagna, though, that he does enjoy.
You’ll never gue…[Read more]

I’m working on my WIP…
This is weird to ask but… does every scene necessarily need a goal/conflict/outcome or reaction/decision? Because the scene I’m working on does seem important (it introduces a side character, does some foreshadowing and drops some hints of important events that happen in the background) but it doesn’t seem…[Read more]

@seekjustice I haven’t listened to much yet, since I turned it off so I could read something I’m researching, but the start of it sounds like it’s going to be interesting.
Did you have a good lunch? Say, you know what I eat, (Middle Eastern food,) but I don’t know what you eat… 😉 What did you have?

@seekjustice I don’t write very well when I’m listening to music. I usually listen to music to get inspiration, then turn it off to write. But in between writing I’m starting to listen to the Lost in the Stars soundtrack. I’ve never listened to it before, so we’ll see how I like it. 🙂 Did you read the plot of that musical? Do you reme…[Read more]

@seekjustice Congratulations! 🙂 Okay, I guess that means you’ll be leaving for lunch soon, though.
Listened to or sung anything interesting today?

@seekjustice I’m back now. How about you?

@seekjustice Haha! Now I remember him a bit. Not very well, but okay. I guess that’s what you’re doing, though, right? Trying to make him more memorable?
I’m going to disappear for about fifteen or twenty minutes, I think. But I’ll be back soon. See you!

@seekjustice I’ve seen the first episode of White Collar, but that’s all. I enjoyed it, but prefer the 60s version with Robert Wagner as the thief recruited by the FBI. I absolutely LOVE that show. It’s called It Takes a Thief, and has a very similar premise to White Collar.) I don’t watch any recently made shows, either, unless my brother dec…[Read more]

@seekjustice I am on the other side of the world, and I can tell how fast your WiFi is. 😛
I think I’ve seen about two or three episodes. My brother says most of it has really gross or freaky or creepy aliens, so he hasn’t showed me any more. Mostly in the sci-fi category I watch Star Trek and Stargate: SG-1. Have you seen either of th…[Read more]

@seekjustice How could I believe you, when you need WiFi in order to get notices that I’ve posted? 😉 And since you’re replying so quickly, I can tell your WiFi is working very fast today…er…tomorrow… (time travel is so confusing)

@seekjustice 🙂 Oh good. I’m glad you like it.
Oh, hahaha! That sounds funny. But it was sweet of him, wasn’t it? 😛 At least he was trying to make you feel better. I’d not heard of Skippy the Kangaroo, but I get the idea. I just looked it up anyway and see that it’s a tv show.
You know what? I really need to go to bed now, too. So good…[Read more]

@seekjustice His version is very different from the other versions I’ve heard in that it’s more fierce than creepy. 😛 He does a few of the soft notes softly, but the rest is powerful and fierce rather than creepy and gently weird like some of the other men sing it. Now I’m listening to him sing “Stars” again, and I think I might like that b…[Read more]

@seekjustice Okay, I’ve actually heard him sing “Stars” before. I just didn’t know his name. I don’t listen to Les Miserables very often. (I’ve only ever listened to a couple of songs, not the whole thing.) He has a very good voice. I started to listen to his version of “Stars” but got sidetracked when I realized recordings had been rel…[Read more]
