Yeah sorry. I’m still here I just got distracted reading @dekreel ‘s KPA.
Uh oh. *glances around nervously*. Okay, I’m ready.

I just looked up the average age for marriage in Elizabethan England and boys were legally allowed to marry at 14 and girls at 12 but boys usually got married at around 21. I imagine girls would have been younger, but thirteen seems a bit excessive. And since the woman’s main task was to have children it does seem strange…[Read more]

@dekreel I know right!

It’s not so much that Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy that I dislike, it’s more that it’s…a pointless tragedy, I guess. Also, Juliet is thirteen years old. Am I the only one disturbed by that? I will try West Side Story though, when I get a chance.

*frowns at 939 posts* I am going to be one soon too!
Um…we’ve been talking about musicals. Aren’t you shocked? -

Each to her own, I suppose. I haven’t listened to West Side Story yet, but I am slightly worried about it, because I despise Shakespeare, particularly Romeo and Juliet, so I’m not sure how I’ll like a musical retelling of it.
I guess that’s something.
I’ve actually edited a whole chapter of my novella!

Ah, I see. I would probably prefer The Sound of Music and other musicals like that if they were more modern. For some reason, I’ve always really liked The Sound of Music (probably because I really like war stories), but I can’t stand the songs in it. They’re annoying. I’m sorry.
Don’t like Sierra Boggess? oh dear.
Okay.

I was actually referring to the fact that she said she’d see us all next week.

Sierra Boggess, who’s in the 25th Anniversary of Phantom is my favourite one.
Fair enough, there’s a lot of modern singers I don’t like either. In fact, I hardly ever listen to anything but musicals, like I’ve already said, just because I don’t like pop music or singers. Have you ever heard of Nick Jonas? I believe he’s one of those…[Read more]

@alia Newsies is AWESOME. Let me just make that clear. I have the biggest fictional crush on Davey. I was just saying that Anastasia is AWESOMER. That’s all. Please don’t eat me.
I am currently listening to My Petersburg!
Bye! (What, are you going away?)

Surely out of all the hundreds of girls who’ve played Christine, there’s one you like?
The Neva Flows Reprise is awesome, it was the first one I fell in love with too!

@alia How can I choose just one?? I love them all! (I’m listening to it now too). I guess In My Dreams and The Neva Flows would be my favourites. But seriously, there are none that I hate!
@rochellaine I definitely agree that I like it better than Newsies and maybe Phantom too, I’ve never decided.

I second Alia’s question: Movie or Broadway?
and yes, I’m still here, just needed to focus for a minute so I disappeared!

I’m going to be around in forty minutes/an hour, to do some editing.
(The sneezing has stopped but the violent coughing has begun, so I’m still confined to home)

Well, my signature basically says it all. I’m a human girl who can make origami creations come to life, I have an army of origami cranes that do my bidding and somewhere along the way I picked up a sabre from Babylon. I wander the land, defending the honour of my favourite characters and performing highland dances. Blue eyes,…[Read more]

Thanks again! I like the statement too, it’s true and it’s really comforting, because in light of infinity, what are our little tiny problems? We can trust them to God because he is greater than even the stars and the moon and sun!
I had a lot of fun writing it! I’m working on the sequel at the moment which is a retelling of A…[Read more]

Thanks! Basically it was trying to capture the idea that the stars are infinite, as in they will exist for as long as the universe does, but that God outlasts infinity. My book is a dystopian retelling of Les Miserables, and the title is part of a longer quote from a section of Les Mis.

*looks guilty* Sorry…
Its probably the sort of thing I’d say if I got flustered when introducing myself, which happens all the time.
Here you either introduce yourself by your nickname (Hey, I’m Steve or Phil or Tom) if you got a name like that. I usually don’t introduce myself by my nickname (Chel) but that’s what I get called…[Read more]
