Bleh, I’m bored. Here is some Flazzy rambling. 🥱
What’s one place you’ve never been to, but have always wanted to visit?
“I actually travel a lot because my dad lives in another country, so I don’t really think about going anywhere a lot… but I guess… uh…” *long pause* “…oh, I want to go to the Ethri Islands. They’re, like, at the top of o…[Read more]

@the_lost-journal @anyone-else
What are your thoughts on Jesus having siblings?
The Bible says that He does, and I am going to believe it.
If you could visit one of the holy sights from around the world, where would you go? And why?
I’m not sure! I think it would be really cool, but honestly I’m content to just read about them. I’m not big on…[Read more]

R.M. Archer replied to the topic Anyone want to take a survey for an essay I'm writing? in the forum General Writing Discussions 1 year, 2 months ago
I filled out the survey. As a technical note, you may want to change the question about average phone use—either to take text input rather than a number only, or to be more specific (e.g. “how many hours do you spend on your phone on average per day“)—so that your data is more clear. I input the daily average hours my phone has tracked and…[Read more]

Belle sat down alone in her grandfather’s library. She flipped through the pages of a book, trying to find the last chapter she’d read. She heard the library door open, but she didn’t pay much attention to it. Footsteps echoed in the room as a figure made their way alongside the shelves. There was a short pause, and then a strong masculine voice…[Read more]

We don’t have a lot of boundaries, but we didn’t get our own phones until last year or the year before that. I think the main thing is that phones have to be in the living room at night—which is a law I’m we have because I had the bad habit of being on my phone late into the night and even really early in the morning, watchin…[Read more]

Thanks!!
I always love it when little details like cardboard texture or tenis shoes etc. work out. It makes the process suddenly much more fun.
Yeahhh, I agree! 😄😄

Brayden. Or rather a younger version of Brayden. The cardboard box steals the spotlight, I love how it turned out XD

Ayla the Great and Terrible, what is the most exciting rumor you’ve heard about yourself? And what’s the most exciting or interesting rumor you’ve heard surrounding someone you know?
Elina, what do you value most in a friend/friendship? What would break a friendship for you?

R.M. Archer replied to the topic How do you world build? in the forum General Writing Discussions 1 year, 3 months ago
I love to discuss worldbuilding! How I approach the worldbuilding process depends on the world. I have three main worlds I revisit, so I have three main processes, which I laid out in a blog post a few years ago.
There are certain factors that overlap among all of my worlds:
- I always have some core framework in mind–whether that’s a timeline…

R.M. Archer replied to the topic Scrivener Questions in the forum General Writing Discussions 1 year, 3 months ago
I don’t know the answers to all of these questions simply because my experience doesn’t cover all of them, but I can say:
2. Yes. I actually keep my Scrivener files on an external drive so that I can easily switch between my desktop and laptop (both Windows computers), so I don’t need to move said files, but prior to that I did keep copies on…[Read more]

@elishavet-pidyon Thank you! I’m glad they were both helpful to you!
Aw, thanks! It’s good to be around! I can’t keep up much (it might help a little if I changed my KP email address so I get notifications to an email I check more regularly… though that wouldn’t help with the obstacle of busyness, lol), but I try to pop in when I have time and…[Read more]

We’ll see if KP lets me post the link or not, but I actually have a blog post all about how to approach the creation of allegorical/pseudo-allegorical religions!
