@corissa-maiden-of-praise Yay! Welcome back! 🙂 We missed you (at least, I did). I’m so glad you’re back! 🙂
Hi Bethany! I’ve been using that journaling technique in my Bible time, and it’s been really helpful! Thank you for suggesting it. 🙂
@bethanysinkyroses I will try that! Thank you for explaining it. The Bible is such an awesome book, and I want to go deeper with it. 🙂
@bethanysinkyroses Hola! 🙂 I was curious, how do you study the Bible? I’ve been feeling the same way, with wanting to do more than just reading, but I’m not sure what the next step is. Isn’t First Peter an awesome book? What are your favorite books in the Bible? Mine change often, but right now they would be 1 Peter and Phillipians.
@DanceFree7 Sure, I would love to proofread them. 🙂 I’m sorry I didn’t reply sooner; I haven’t been on KP lately. It’s neat that you’re self-publishing. Is this your first book?
@kina-lamb I’m sorry I’m so late! We’ve been without wifi for the past few weeks. Welcome to Kingdom Pen!!! It’s so exciting to meet Daeus’s little sister. 🙂 Yo hablo un poco Español, y venido á Mexico en Deciembre. Did I say that right? The Bible is my favorite book, too. 🙂 Thank you for starting the Scripture Memorization thread!
@rachelle Wow, those are really good! I especially like the comic with the little boy and the kitty. 🙂 Have you done any others like that?
@Rachelle Hi, Rachelle! It’s neat that you do both writing and art. 🙂 I’m not an artist myself, but my brother is. How does digital art work? Your picture reminds me of an animation that I just watched this morning; here is the link to it.
I had never seen digital art like that before; it’s kind of cool how much symbolism you can put into it. It’s awesome that God has given you such a wonderful talent. As for advice, I don’t really see any specific details that need to be changed, but I do have a suggestion about the overall theme/ feel of the picture. I’m sure you didn’t mean to convey this, but it has a very dark and seductive feel to it. Darkness is real, and it’s not necessarily wrong to portray that, but as Christians, I think it’s also really important to show the light, and its power over the darkness. One digital artist I really admire, Chris Powers, does an amazing job of showing both the darkness and the light’s power over it. He’s the one who did the animation in the link above. Have you seen his work? What do you think of it?@kate-flournoy I’m praying for you! That’s exciting. 🙂
@Clairec Of course! What is a piano exam like?@Daeus Alright! Do you already have my email, or should I sign up on your contact form?
@Daeus I would really like to read it! I’m not sure how much time I will have in the next few weeks, though. Is there a date that you want the reviews posted by?
@Daeus As long as he is a bad guy, I don’t think it is wrong. The occult is real.
@Overcomer Oh, I’m so glad you were able to do it! That sounds so sad. God is good, though!
I just finished reading A Scandal in Bohemia. It is very well-written! I think Hound of the Baskervilles is my favorite Sherlock Holmes story-line, but the very unhappy ending keeps it from being my favorite story. What did you think of A Study In Scarlet? I liked that one, because Sherlock Holmes is not addicted to drugs yet, and he has a much livelier character.
Hi Gracie!!! Welcome to the bestistest place on the Internet. 🙂 You like camping? That’s so cool! What is the longest camping trip you have been on?
