I was thinking of committing to not read fiction next month. So I’m going to say now that I will do that. I’m not putting a limit on my non-fiction though as I just grabbed thick biography from the library, and I won’t be starting ’til next month as I have some things to finish.

So I will join you @Bluejay and @Sarah-h, to that extent.

Hey that’s awesome. I really want to hunger for His word. I love reading too, so this will be a good chance for me to deny myself and follow Christ.
Well, for me, I’m going to start tomorrow, but I think I’m going to extend my time and and go to the end of September. Will you do that too?

@sarah-h @kate-flournoy, How does it sound to take a week for each chapter? I realized that the chapters are kind of long and we might get more out of discussion if we take longer on each chapter. @sarah-h 🙂 Yes, that is a lyrebird. Very shy, but beautiful birds. One lyrebird a sanctuary was able to mimic a fire alarm. Confused the workers no end. 🙂

Yes!!!!!!!!!!! Success. @sarah-h In case you were wondering, this is a lyrebird. Called that because of the shape of the brown tail feathers which look like the instrument, the lyre. (As a child I use to think it was because it lied. A lyrebird has the ability to mimic other bird calls, so that’s kind of like lying.) 🙂

Yes, I know. It’s pretty awesome. Um, the only difference with the animal, are the lyrebirds are more common there. They like the wet ground.

For me, South Australia really looks like Victoria. If we didn’t have a big sign saying “Welcome to South Australia” I wouldn’t know when we crossed the border.
And yes, it is very bushy.
I have been to the seaside. Quite a few times. 🙂 No, Victoria doesn’t have palm trees. If they were anywhere in Australia it would be Queensland. (@clairec Do…[Read more]
