Jenna Terese replied to the topic The Omniscient POV in the forum General Writing Discussions 6 years, 5 months ago
@sarah-anson The reason I wanted to use this POV was because I wanted to follow a group of people instead of just one protagonist. (the genre is sci-fi/dystopian. and yes, I like that genre 😛 )
Love that snippet! 😀

@sarah-anson Hi, welcome back! 😉 did you take a hiatus? *wonders if I missed an update you posted*
@seekjustice and @ariel-ashira pretty much covered things. Definitely read Raspberry Blood! It’s awesome 🙂

Well, the Kingdom is mostly made up of Rochellaine and Alia and I bickering, Jen and Ariel being sweet and Catwing being…Catwing. A few others pop in now and then, but we’re the staunch supporters TILL WE’RE OLD AND GREY!!

@sarah-anson If you want to read about the new KP movement that is shaking the forum, read the first several pages of this topic. Â You might also enjoy my poem Raspberry Blood after that. Â That is, if you have not stayed up with us much and don’t know about it already.

@sarah-anson Hi! Â My Dad and I are on a trip, and as we went through Colorado yesterday, @alia and I met each other in real life!

@sarah-anson Wow, thank you for all the advice! 😉 It was really helpful. I agree about the ending; it didn’t turn out the way I wanted to and felt rushed. I’ll work on Rin’s character arc about trusting God as well.
Thank you again! 😀 <3

@warrenluther04 @seekjustice @ingridrd @skredder @ariel-ashira @sarah-anson @anyone else I missed
I forgot to ask one last thing: do you have any title ideas? I really like one or two word titles, so I don’t really like the one it has now. Any and all ideas would be appreciated 🙂

@sage-g @notawriter @ariella-newheart @sarah-anson
Could one or two of you possibly draw me a character, please? 🙂
Randal—is 17, has auburn hair, green-yellow eyes, and a soft smile. He has a long white scar down the side of his neck. Clothing-wise, anything casual, probably just a T-shirt and jeans.
Hopefully that’s enough info! 😉

@sarah-anson I know what it’s like to have a MC that just. Won’t. Be. Compelling!!! *tears out hair* The MC of my story that is currently on hold was like that. She had a backstory I loved, she was quirky, realistic, and had a story goal. But what I found was holding her back from being interesting (or even likeable) was that she was kind of in…[Read more]

She refuses to tell me what it was though…Alexandria Evergreen (Alex) would rather talk about it.

@sarah-Anson I agree with @skredder @gh24682468999 @ariel-Ashira . Interview your character, write him in a different scene, flesh out your character.
But in edition something you could do for fun (though it will probably help) is to make a collage for him. I had to figure out somethings when I made my collages. Also got me excited about my book. 😋 - Load More
