I’ve never watched Full House before (since I don’t watch regular TV, only DVDs), but it happens in other movies and books that I like. Especially in The Heartland series, where it took them a few books to like each other and then… they split up because the MC chooses college instead of running the ranch the way she had been.…[Read more]

Exactly! Peggy was so much nicer and fun than Helen.

I can imagine.
I just looked at my notifications and saw your question about Andy Griffith. I completely agree, I wish Andy had married Peggy too. Sigh… oh well. I liked Ellie Walker also, but I still think he should’ve married Peggy.

I love that line! It made me interested in the scene.

Thanks:) And *high fives* that’s awesome!
Yeah, it does sound kind of creepy, most of my leave off lines seem that way looking back. But most of the leave offs are about the villain (since I’ve been building those scenes this past week).
Here is a line a few paragraphs before that one:
She loved to hear the ice sing, she sheathed…[Read more]

Ah, there goes my timer. I officially have the second draft of my first chapter now. My leave off is:
Outside, the wind swirled high through the trees and across the sky, around the lake and past a figure receding quickly into the forest and into the shelter of the night.
How about you?

That sounds really cool! I’m gonna have to check into this!
Most (well all) my characters are Russian, although Lila originated more from eastern Prussia. The only reason she is deeper in the tundra regions is because Artur (the main villain) kidnapped her, so the MC would have to take her in. Because the MC lives alone and prefers…[Read more]

Yes, our characters do seem to do that don’t they? I think all my characters rubbed off on me a little. Even other character. Like the cowboy from Spirit Riding Free; he is responsible for getting me interested in Trick Riding (I haven’t done it yet however). Embassy Row? That sounds interesting! I’m always looking for goof books set…[Read more]

That’s funny/cool that your character made you like pink, because my MC did the exact same thing to me except she went and got me interested in ancient Russia and sword fighting techniques.

Hey that’s great your dad’s making dinner (I’ll probably eat whatever I have on hand which is kind of what I eat when I have my head in the keyboard XD ). Anyway, see you later and that sounds like an awesome ploy twist!

461 is awesome:) Hmm, yeah, all writing apps hate me for the most part XD Except WerdSmith. That one works pretty good. But I’ll have to test out Word and Docs for a little while longer and see what works best (most of my trouble is the signing in, it doesn’t like accepting my password).

That’s awesome!
I’ll have to try Word instead of Docs. I only use it because most journals require submissions through Docs, but for actual writing it only works 50/50.

Ah my first timer went off *resets to another 15* and sigh. Not too much progress yet (had a little trouble with google docs), how about you guys?

*Gladly accepts cake* That’s awesome! I’m going to try some rewriting and banging out dents in my plot. Or maybe I’ll just go for a new scene! I set my timer for 15 minutes, (I’ll be here for a few hours) but I think that’s a good idea, writing in 15 minute allotments.
