*jumping into a conversation that’s been going on forever like I usually do* @dragon-snapper They’re still doing another season? My life is complete. I’m not quite done with season 2 yet, but they’re way better than I thought they would be. Hiccup and Toothless are just… *shoots ten firework arrows into the sky for lack of a better word*

@aysia-serene You like school? Yup, you’re definitely a homeschooler. I think it’s a common trait among us. That’s so funny about you’re hobbies; you sound just like me. People ask me what I like to do and I pipe up “Write!” And they ask what else and I go “Uh…” XD
Does anyone even know how the bestistest thing got started anyway?

@Northerner Haha, mine didn’t either. Except watch Tangled. I don’t know if that counts. 🙂

@Abigail-Blomberg Coolio! It’s a nice twist, doing it from Joseph’s perspective.
The main thing I think you might want to work on is the grammar in some places. Some where typos, some where just words together that didn’t quite make sense.
It isn’t perfect, but it is as perfect as I it can be for my sparrow.

Amen, @perfectfifths! Happy 2017! May it be a better year than any of it’s predecessors, may God help us to grow in faith and strength, may we ever seek Him more in the adventures He has planned for us, and may He bless our writing as we endeavor to honor His glory in the upcoming year.

@daeus I had to scrutinize it very closely to figure out that he’s holding a cane. At first glance, it looks like some strange kind of shoe or something. Also, the red lettering doesn’t seem to stand out very well, though I would be careful if you brighten it, because you don’t want it to look like Santa Claus’s coat. I think the hand with the…[Read more]

@daeus I think the picture is really neat, with the deep dramatic shadows, I just don’t like the title font too much. Like Emma said, it kind of seems plastic. I think maybe if it were a little more aged and worn looking, it might fit better. Also, I thought the design behind it almost looks like it’s part of the road, though I’m not really sure…[Read more]

@emma-flournoy @sarah-h @rolena-hatfield @sierra-r @kate-flournoy @jess Thank you all for praying! If you could just keep it up a little longer, it would be much appreciated. I think it’s so amazing that people here pray for each other even though they’ve never actually met in person. It makes you think about how big God really is, that He can…[Read more]

@i-j-anderson I personally like illustrations, if they’re done well, though too often I pick up a book with illustrations that look like they were done by a four year old. (You know, blobby noses, faces that are basically just a circle, and pathetic backgrounds)
Or the illustrator paid absolutely no attention to the author’s descriptions. Like, a…[Read more]

@i-j-anderson Most of the time I prefer to just use my imagination, but I do enjoy the illustrations in the old classics, like Henty and Ballantyne. Which do you prefer: sketches, or color pictures?

I adore that quote. 🙂
I thought Gandalf said it though?-
@emma-flournoy At the end of Two Towers, when Frodo and Sam were in Osgiliath, and Frodo was acting like a crazy person and shoving swords into Sam’s throat and stuff like that, and Sam came up with his little pep talk/inspirational speech to keep from dying (to paraphrase just a little XD). It’s part of that speech.
And yeah, that’s one of my fa…[Read more]-

Hi y’all, I have a prayer request: My mom has had a chronic condition for the last five years, and it will sometimes get better for three months, and then suddenly slump for six. Since July my family has been planning to do something really special in January, next week, to be exact, but she’s suddenly gone into a rough spot and probably won’t be…[Read more]

Hullo Sarah! Thanks so much for asking! I’ve had a very busy schedule recently, and I’m not sure when it will calm down enough for me to be back on here regular. 🙁 I had a wonderful Christmas and can’t wait until I’m able to join the conversations again! God bless you!
@corissa-maiden-of-praise Oh yay, I’m glad you will be coming back at some point. 🙂
