@dragon-snapper What they said 😉
Quick tip: Make a goal list. Doing as many of these as you can is a fabulous goal, but don’t try and do them all at once. Pick your top three priorities (say like, email list, submitting a short story to a site and joining a new writing community) Focus on getting those three goals established/done before adding another goal. (Bonus quick tip: it also helps to give yourself a time in which to get those accomplished, say like, I’m going to outline my short story this week and write it over the weekend etc.)
Sometimes I have to take one goal at a time! (*rubshandstogether* “This week, I’m gonna start an email list and be brave enough to ask people to subscribe.”)
Anyway, it’s way less overwhelming to focus on these goals a little at a time instead of all at once 🙂

@mariposa This is lovely! Thanks for the laughs! Also, I love Brianna’s idea. We’re framing this and hanging it on our nonexistent office wall :p Perfect place for it. 🙂

@Emily-d I have read Chuck Black. It was forever ago, and I remember liking them. He writes allegories to Biblical events and people. I read most all of his Kingdom Series.
I’ve heard of Sigmund Brouwer but have never read his books. Didn’t he write the Orphan King? If so I’ve heard that one’s good 🙂

@ingridrd I feel you. Your openness about life warms my heart. 🙂
I recently shared some thoughts on my blog about what God taught me when I was struggling to see His “day to day” purpose or even the long term plan. You’re welcome to read if you like 🙂 https://rolenahatfield.com/2017/10/14/she-didnt-change-the-world/
I’ll be praying for you!

@jadamae Processing via thoughts on paper. Glad I’m not the only one 🙂 Quote books are so fun! Once you do start one, you’ll have fun and love it!

@Shannon Hand cramps are the worst! I’m so thankful for computers! Otherwise I would never be a writer. My hand would probably fall off. :p You could start journaling with a keyboard. (I know, I know… not the same as actual paper.) But you can always print them out and bind them together so it’s actual paper.

@allison-grace lol. Which journal? (I fill mutiple) Journaling is is one way I process life so… I have a lot of ’em.
One notebook I keep is for all the little life lessons I learn. It’s pretty awesome to go back and read where you’ve been in life and what you’ve learned.
Another is written in a letter form more about what I’m doing in life and future goals.
And there’s my Bible journal. If I write something down it helps me remember what I’ve read.
And I also keep a quote book, which tycnically isn’t a journal, but thought I’d throw that in there. Quote books are the best!Do you journal often?
