Thank you so much, @rolena-hatfield and @daeus! Now I have two questions. How do you market/advertise your book? And what is the difference between a e-book realtor and an e-book publisher?
Oh, and another thing. I’m not an artist. If I self-publish a book, how do I get the cover designed? -

Alright alright, I admit it @everybody, I can’t stay off here forever.
I wanted to tell you all about this great example of christianity in fiction that I have been reading a about. It’s in this book I’m reading that’s a great piece of historical fiction focusing on the Waldensians. In this book there is one this one small town of waldensians up…[Read more]

Hey, I’m glad it was helpful @Rolena-Hatfield! 🙂
As for the mentor question, I’ve actually not studied that much… I’ll get back to you if I come up with any earthshaking conclusions. 😉

Don’t worry, @rolena-hatfield, our name gets misspelled and mispronounced just like that ALL THE TIME. 😛 It is a little bit of an odd name. 😉
Yes, I’m loving this topic too. I can’t believe I didn’t introduce this discussion earlier!
As for the Bible question, there are many different ways you could do that correctly. Just base the scene off…[Read more]

@rolena-hatfield (In goofy western slang) I luuuuuuve Bin-Herr!
How I would approach the bible situation is to think how her reading the bible will effect on her in more than one way. The first way is obvious – the words she reads are training her, but there could be an influence entirely outside of the words she reads. Maybe there could be a…[Read more]

Cool @rolena-hatfield! I love the name Miret. 🙂
Thanks! Madam Munch really is quite the character, and she is a bit like a mouse @kate-flournoy. 😛 She’s one of those characters who’s supposed to get you really annoyed, so I’d say she’s probably one of my least favorite characters in the novel.

@rolena-hatfield – I have not read the highwayman but I’ve heard Anne recite it. It sounds a very moving poem. We have number 3 but I haven’t watched it yet. I can’t wait though.
I sometimes think I’m very much like Anne (with an E 😀 ). A writer, an actress (and very Dramatic) and I’m always (at least when I was younger than I am now) in…[Read more] -

Yes @rolena-hatfield and @bluejay! I love those movies, and yes, I have read the Highwayman. Lovely— the rhythm for that one is absolutely… splendiferous.
Ah… to hear Anne reciting The Lady of Shalott… drama. Pure drama.

My analysis is that this is a really good poem that just needs to loose a little weight. You see, with poetry, you write phrases based on flow, not how you are used to hearing them. I figure the best way to explain this is just to show you what I would take off.

@rolena-hatfield – Yes Australia is an awesome place. At the moment we are in our second month of summer and it is a sweltering heat of about 30C inside (which is about 86F). But summer is my favourite month so I don’t really mind. (Which is really weird cause I was born in winter!!! But I find I get sick more often when it is wet on cold.:()…[Read more]

@rolena-hatfield Go for it! No time like the present for anything. There is also no reason you couldn’t take an old book and re-boost its sales. People do that all the time.
@ivy-rose Glad you’re liking it. I am too. Did you get Reader Magnets?

@rolena-hatfield Haha, I’m really not sure. Of course, I have a general idea of what it sounds like. The thing is that just about any pronunciation of those letters would fit his character just about perfectly. My mom studied french, so I asked her. She wasn’t able to give me a definite answer though. So I have a pretty good idea, but I don’t…[Read more]
