Hmm what comes to mind is this from William Faulkner:

@rochellaine Oh, this is cool. There is a writing quote that I really like, but I can’t remember who said it. So, I’m gonna paraphrase it here for y’all.

Write the beginning as if it’s the middle of a story, and write the ending as if it’s the beginning.

Oh yeah, P.s I suppose.. I just wanted to say I realize, that was only the first few pages so I don’t mean to imply your story doesn’t have those first few things I mentioned.  You just might want to introduce those elements sooner, or foreshadow them?
