@supermonkey42 Don’t worry, I love rants! 😀 I’m going to do one too:
Yes, I think in real life we are all at once the hero, the villain, the sidekick, and the mentor. It all depends on from whose perspective we’re picturing ourselves. Everything in life is based on bias, which is why it’s hilarious to hear someone explain just how they kn…[Read more]

@seekjustice @jenwriter17 It’s time for dinner now! 😀 So I’ll try to be back in about an hour and a half or two hours.

@jenwriter17 I’m still on for now, but it all depends on when we decide to eat dinner. 🙂

@seekjustice And we’re probably going to eat dinner in about half an hour.
Okay. As usual, just send me a tag!

Sooo, I wrote this and showed it to my brother, but I don’t think he found it as funny as I did. So I’m wondering if it’s just me, or if maybe other writers will understand the problem posed here:

I am writing! (In a manner of speaking.)
@dekreel @jenwriter17 @kaya-young Anyone want to join me?
@seekjustice on a gamble that you might decide to come over even though it’s tomorrow morning on your side of the planet. 😀

@seekjustice So was I! I read books about/from/set in all those different periods for school, but it wasn’t until I was out of high school and in college that I started researching the old songs and movies for myself. Now I know way more about them than anyone in my family. 😀 It’s my hobby, I guess.
I already recommended Carousel to you, so…[Read more]

@seekjustice I don’t really watch comics, but I read the plots of a lot online just so I’ll know what people are talking about. 😀 So I have heard of that part of Thor. I don’t really like “love at first sight,” though. I think it happens sometimes, but for the most part it feels like they’re all about looks instead of personality.
I think it…[Read more]

@seekjustice *takes moral support* *examines it* *decides it might possibly help*
Thanks. 😀
I have a random question with relation to one of my stories:
Which “meet cute” is better?
#1 She is upset, so she crosses the street without looking, and he hits her with his car. She isn’t really hurt, but he has to help her get home and make sure…[Read more]

@seekjustice I am trying to figure out how creating a website works. 😀 I’ve updated my parents’ ministry website several times, but my brother created it in the first place, so I already have everything I need to work with there. Now I’m trying to make a website for myself and…not going quite as smoothly as planned. 🙁

Here are a few prompts I’ve just come up with, and a few that I found in an old file. 🙂
If the ship had crashed, all would have been lost. If the ship had crashed, all her plans would have crashed with it. If the ship had crashed, she would have drowned and she would have never seen Marloth again.
Oh, how she wished the ship had crashed!“I d…[Read more]

@alia ALL your siblings write? I don’t know if that’s cool or scary. 😀
I think I’m going to disappear now…
Goodbye, and hope you find your solution!

@alia Oh, I’m sorry. 🙁 Do you have any siblings? Why don’t you tell them what your MC has to do, and ask them how they would go about it? Of course, what they say probably won’t work, but it might give you an idea.

@alia Oh, and I kind of feel like adding that signature someone (I don’t remember who) has which says something like “Feel free to disregard any and all writing advice. It’s mostly just my opinion anyway.” 😀 😀

@alia Usually when I get to a part in my story like that I skip ahead to the part where I know what’s going to happen, just putting a couple of bold lines of text where I skipped, such as
“(Now Jack falls down the cliff)”
And then write about how they try to rescue him. Usually by the time I write a little farther ahead I get an idea of what…[Read more]

@alia Oh, that makes sense. 🙂
My story is about a girl singer in the 50s who believes that because of the bad reputation attached to those of her occupation no one will ever want to associate with her or care about her.

@emerald-flyer I completely forgot to answer you! 😮 Yes. That would actually be a very interesting (and freaky) way to learn new languages.
Why don’t you check out Adora’s freewrite of that prompt? It’s really cool, and kind of mentions the same type of idea as you had. 🙂 (The link’s in one of the above posts.)

@alia A “kinda sorta fantasy” book? Hmm. 😀
I’m popping back and forth between trying to design a website and trying to write a short story. (Both of which have been partly finished for way too long. 🙂 )
