@alia *listens* *is unimpressed* I have actually heard a few of the songs. I guess probably at cousins’ houses or something. 🙂 We also have the “slapping with fishes” Nineveh book… 😀 …and quote it frequently.
Bobert wouldn’t be much interested in this conversation either, since he’s never even heard of Veggietales. 😀

@alia Well, currently one of my characters has fallen off a cliff and sprained his back, and the other character has fainted from the heat while trying to get help…so they really can’t do much else but behave! 😀

Hm, that’s funny. I get a lot of emails from Wix from a few different addresses, but none from that address. I guess that’s the one for the subscribers. 😀

the one at your Home page. it might just be a fluke with the system. I’m supposed to receive emails every time I post something, but it only happens every now and then

Yes, I know for a fact that at least Jane Powell (Milly) and Howard Keel (Adam) used their real singing voices. I think Russ Tamblyn (Gideon) did too, since he did a lot of other musical films, but they dubbed him in West Side Story, so they might have dubbed him here. But Jane Powell and Howard Keel were both well known for their great singing…[Read more]

Oh, I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Isn’t it hilarious? 😀 Yes, the “Sobbin’ Women” song is really funny. Especially the part where Adam says “but, these bein’ civilized parts, boys, we’ve got to kidnap the preacher along with ’em.”
And I can understand why Frank wanted to beat up his brothers when they mentioned his name…poor guy!

@seekjustice That makes sense. Since I usually read the synopsis, then watch a couple of the songs on YouTube, (with clips from the movie), then watch the musical, I actually like songs better that don’t fit specifically with the plot because then I can sing them…[Read more]
