@i-j-anderson Yay! I’m glad you liked it! I could have gone more crazy with the hair (I thought about it) but I was worried it’d ruin it, so she’s having a “tame-hair day” today 😛
@aysia-serene Aw, it can’t be that bad 😉 I’d love for you to try, if you really want to. May I ask what it is about Cris’ description that you think is super cool? 😀

Thanks, @r-j-wordsmith ! 🙂
I’m still planning and working on bits. Multiple POV’s was not the easiest choice for my first novel. Figuring out how to begin the story and in what order things ought to happen, is confusing, to say the least, but I”m getting there. 🙂
Sounds like your planning went well, @dragon-snapper . 🙂
Thanks for writing…[Read more]

@kate-flournoy Your Insanity Jane drawing was great! It was a fun, simplistic cartoony style! 😀
Here’s my version – I tried to do a more realistic style this time, and I think it turned out pretty good 🙂 I didn’t go over in pen and erase like I did before, so it’s a little more sketchy.

@i-j-anderson Hope you likey!

@daeus Thank you! 😀 I actually made some comments on your comments (and changed some stuff based on them) and I’d appreciate it, if you can, if you could have a quick look at those as well 🙂

I’m still working on my story, and figuring out exactly what the theme is.
I’m thinking of choosing Complacency and Purpose as my theme, but I’m not sure yet.
My story is (so far) about overcoming complacency, finding the courage to change, dealing with expectations, and finding/embracing one’s destiny/purpose.
The three main characters are all…[Read more]

Thanks, @aratrea ! That’s one of my all-time favorite books, so I’m glad you think so. 🙂
I’m really enjoying this class. 🙂 I’ve learned so much already, and I’ve barely even started. (Sorry about that, by the way.)

@hope Haha, a lad with a stubble XD He looks a lot older in the original picture on the paper 😛 But see why I want to learn how to draw more realistically, especially for older men or more serious characters.
But you got a she-wolf! And I think she’s pretty good, if I say so myself 😉

@daeus Would you mind (so long as it’s not too much trouble or doesn’t take up too you much of your time or anything) also reading through an entry I wrote for a second contest? (the Bunyan Fiction Writing contest) The max. word-count is similar (1,750, but I didn’t reach it) so it’s not very long. The deadline is April 1st, and I can post the…[Read more]
