Although I really want to find a creme brulee recipe that doesn’t take 8-12 hours.

Ah, lovely. Tis faster than pana cotta I see. I must try this.
Although I might swap out the rosewater for orange or lavender. Rose has never been a favorite flavor of mine.

*Sighs* *Flips hair dramatically* I have answered your irrelevant interview questions. It’s too bad I’m behind bars, or I would set your printing press on fire. And not in a good way.

Hm. I have a couple characters who go through the same thing. One has a few days, the other has a suspicion of their own death and only becomes sure of it in the last few hours.
I think it depends on how much of a communicator they are, and what kind of legacy they want to leave behind.
Character A might tell his friends immediately (or not long…[Read more]

I suffer from dessert-making mania. Here, for you.
Rice Kheer Recipe

my loyal subjects, I beg pardon.
Tragedy has struck.
The dragon laptop ate LOS for breakfast! 😱
I was able to recover most of it, but alas I must be away to other duties.
No new sections until Monday. 😭

he was just messed up. Period.
Thankfully, he’s less messed up now.
He’s a very purpose driven person. Take away his purpose, and he’s got nothing left.

Thank you, thank you. *Curtsey* XD
That’s what I thought. It also looked like he blamed himself a bit for what happened to Leon. Poor kid.

Leo
At last, space to work. The Plant Doctor lady was out in the hall guarding her pots and computer — emphasis on the pots — leaving him and Rory alone in the soggy office.
Now if they could just isolate the leak…
Rory made a strange sound behind him, like when Quincy had stuck an entire earaser in his mouth thinking it…[Read more]

Wow!! You did catch it!
That’s impressive.
that would be about the time. He had this almost horrifying relief that he hadn’t been killed, he didn’t know what on earth to do with Leon’s sacrifice and felt bound to help him in some sort of payment, but once Leon was on the road to recovery there was nothing left for him.

I was wondering how early on you saw it coming? I did a teeny, tiny bit of foreshadowing, but I’ll be very surprised if it was really picked up on as much as it just felt realistic when the scene actually came head on.
Hmm. Well, by the time Leo was getting conscious again and Ian wouldn’t make contact with him but kept slipping o…[Read more]

No prob!!
Rory
Rory watched in stunned silence as the woman raced about, Leo trailing her and trying to catch things she knocked over in her haste. She was rattling on about something, but Rory was having a hard time tracking. It wasn’t that he was unable to take in her words… he most certainly was, along with every object and…[Read more]

Haha, well, you and everyone else. (except Linus. He says he saw it coming, and I’m wondering if he caught on to something, or has read enough of my stuff that he guessed it was something I would do. 😂)
Is Leon going to heal now that this new slave master is kinder to them and won’t make him work as hard as he did?

I also liked the way Leon realizes he’s dying, and that he doesn’t have much time left to work here. The urgency that comes over his actions was real to me.
Oh yeah, I see that. There definitely is an urgency.
And then the whole “you’re crazy but I still kinda admire your attitude” thing was funny, but unfortunately real.
🤣 I like Albe…[Read more]
