Well, @princessfoo, they have to go….very far. And they can’t go back, they have to try and find the meaning to an ancient prophesy. I just need something spark their interest and get them motivated on it.

@princessfoo You’re welcome. I’m sorry you won’t be able to enter. 🙁

@princessfoo Okay. Sorry for doubting you. 🙂 The minimum word count is 5,000 words (if I remember correctly), and the maximum is 20,000. I’m shooting for 20,000 (’cause I’m crazy XD), and I’m still on my rough draft! So I’m doing the story for NaNo, and then hopefully I can edit the whole thing next month and sent it off within the last couple…[Read more]

@princessfoo I don’t know if you’re being sarcastic or serious… (I’m a literalist, so it’s hard sometimes for me to tell when someone’s joking, especially online *sheepish grin*) The Rooglewood contest is a contest with Rooglewood Press, where they publish anthologies of Five Something Somethings. Like Five Magic Roses (five Beauty and the Beast…[Read more]

@princessfoo @catwing @daughteroftheking @that_writer_girl_99 @anyone I’ll start working on my Snow White retelling/NaNo project in about 5 to 10 minutes (I have to do something else first).
@princessfoo Does your Snow White retelling happen to be for the Rooglewood contest?

@princessfoo Thank you! My dad came up with it. Soooo, would this Snow White retelling happen to feature a girl who talks in rhymes when she’s nervous or excited?

@princessfoo Hey, yeah. I never thought about that. Good for the Lunar Chronicles, breaking the stereotype.
@northerner I would read that. -

@daughteroftheking “Anything with step in front of it is evil” — Okay, now I want a fairy tale with a) an evil set of stairs, or b) a set of stairs which grumbles about everyone assuming it’s evil (it’s not) because it’s made of steps.
@princessfoo I have a story-in-waiting where the princess goes ahead with the arranged marriage to the prince…[Read more]

@ethryndal Fairy tales!! I dearly love a good fairy tale retelling. So without farther ado, my rambling. 😉
First of all, ROMANCE. Probably really silly romance. Totally based off appearances, and probably nearly thwarted by an arranged marriage. *quietly fist-bumps @princessfoo* Let’s see, there’s also talking, or at least tame, animals.…[Read more] -

@princessfoo *appears* Who hast summoned me from my lair?? Oh, hi, person I don’t know. Anyway, yes, I am for the first time in forever *evil glare at anyone who would dare interrupt my monologue with a song* trying NaNoWriMo. This should be interesting, because word counts and I aren’t friends. I’m doing a story I have wanted to write for a…[Read more]

*sighs haapily then sadly,* Qui-Gon Jinn was my favorite until I watched R1,
That would be so great if they became part of the grey code.. *nearly squeals, and wants to faint because this is so great* -

@princessfoo,
well, technically Luke Skywalker got married to someone named Mara Jade.
Also, does anyone think Rey being Kylo Ren’s sister sounds weird?
Antilles’s daughter? Heh heh… So many possibilities… -
NC Stokes replied to the topic The Last Jedi in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 1 month ago
@princessfoo Yeah… *nods* Although, there were a handful of nameless rebels who went with the MCs (and consequently died) who could have been married. That still leaves a lot of troublesome questions unanswered, but *rubs hands together* it would be cool.

… guys…
I just noticed something. The meaning of the name Ren is king. The meaning of the name Rey is king’s advisor, or more literally, queen. I even went and looked it up to double check. That is… most intriguing.

@Princessfoo ahhh… hm. Logically and theologically faulty, but then again I don’t watch Star Wars for the theological correctness. 😛
