@jenwriter17 XD That’s hilarious! Although, our knitting needles are more likely to be old pens with just as much ink as ever. After all, the pen is sharper than the knitting needle. Or… something like that. ?? 😛
Thanks for updating me. Anything else I should know about? Who is currently active on here?

@jenwriter17 Old and Grey? That’s pretty cool … although it’ll take this dragon a while to get there. 1000 years old and still gold. XD Still, it’s epic.
“Til We’re Old and Gandalf The Grey!”
Oh, I just realized – you spell gray differently than I do. XD If you don’t me asking, where are you? I’m east coast.

@valtmy Yep. I also felt it was just a tad too organized. My writing needs to be more free, I think. The organization can be good for some people, just not me. 😉 There are many reasons I prefer KP … but I should probably write instead of rant. XD XD But wow I’ve missed this place.
@DEKREEL !!!!! I’M BACK!!!

Yep that was me! 🙂
See you!
Welcome back!
Yeah, I tried getting into Story Embers too but it was overwhelming because there seemed to be new people coming in every day before I could even get comfortable with those who were already there.

@rochellaine XD It’s good to be back. Actually, I wasn’t over at Story Embers that much either. I tried, but really just couldn’t get into it. Too many people, too many other forums, and I found it harder… harder than here. No, I’m a Kapeefer through and through and there’s nothing that’s keeping me from that. I’ll be around more often here…[Read more]

@jenwriter17 @rochellaine @valtmy @whoever else

Here to join you guys! KP can’t get rid of their chair-melting dragon so easily. 😉

In terms of word count, it is not since my first chapter is much shorter than the rest. In terms of plot progression and engagement…Â 😕
I am getting impatient and wanting to move on to the good parts so I am struggling with getting through all the necessary set-up.

@jenwriter17 @catwing @seekjustice @princessfoo
I vote fantasy as well, and no, it doesn’t have anything to do with the fact that my current read is fantasy too. 😛 (Ranger’s Apprentice yeaaaahhh!!)(also if this post shows up twice, don’t blame me. Blame the angry computer gnomes in my laptop.)

No problem, it’s fine. I need to keep my focus on writing anyway, don’t I? 😉

Doesn’t mean it doesn’t have to make some kind of sense. Slack-jawed confusion is not necessarily the reaction I am going for. 😀

Hello!
Yeah, I’ve been waiting for Chara and her uncle to get out of that situation for so long! 😂
Haha, yes, the second has to stay the second. I can’t exactly upload my first and third chapters and leave my beta readers scratching their heads, can I?

I am *sigh* working on the first few chapters of my WIP. It is frustrating because I do want to get some betas soon (since it’s a comedy, I really do need to get objective opinions on whether the humour is working before I proceed any further) but I can’t exactly do that right now. My first chapter is done, my third chapter is……[Read more]

@dekreel Katie would rather be rescued, although she would be realy embarrassed and probably choose not to climb anything for a while anyway. But, it’s going to be essential to the plot for her to be able to climb, so hehe *turns to Katie* Sorry about that, dear.
@jenwriter17 Katie would choose the parachute. She would have no idea how to fly a…[Read more]

Jenna would rather forget who she is, have a perfect life and a terrible past, be portrayed as an animated character, and be loved by all.
Would your character rather have to be rescued from a tree by firefighters, or never be able to climb something again? Jenna would rather be rescued…
