That would be Ned Kelly, probably the most famous Australian ever, even though he was Irish. he thought he was Don Quixote and made himself a helmet and breastplate, though this unfortunately did not deter the police, who simply shot him in the legs to prevent his escape.

I was just thinking that. He makes such detailed notes on the illustrations but we’re just left to imagine them 🙁

Well, it wasn’t easy to find “with a quick search of his name”, because that man wrote a lot but I did eventually find it and I’m up to Chapter 3 and quite enjoying it.

I’m at a stage in life where I have no motivation to do anything. Work, chores, even common-sense actions like brushing my teeth. Please pray that I snap out of it and that I rely on God for self-confidence and diligence.
