I’m not sure if its a “real” tartan, I’d have to find out. But yes, they are heraldic, so different families have different tartans.

@ariel-ashira Thanks, I’m glad you like my poems. 🙂 I didn’t mean my poems are bad. I meant that they don’t have themes or deep meanings. They are meant simply to entertain – to make people laugh – to be light, fluffy, airy creatures which don’t make you think about the meaning of life.
And while a lot of people, including myself, love to r…[Read more]

@seekjustice What type of tartan do you wear? (The different ones mean different things, right?)
Haha, I’m an amazing procrastinator too! 😀

😛 when I’m tired I always tag either you or myself. Sorry @valtmy .
Well, it turned out okay…I’d hardly say its my best work, but since it’s a petticoat and no one should be seeing it anyway, I’m sure it’s fine. This morning I’m working on a full tartan skirt, which is turning out much better so far.
It’s a costume for a dance…[Read more]

@seekjustice I got notified this morning of a random post from you about sewing lacy petticoats…
I think you meant to tag @valtmy 😉 I was very confused for a bit! Actually I got on KP expecting to see a hilarious picture of a quite ruined lace petticoat sort of like this:

I hope you’ve been able to figure out how to complete the project…[Read more]

@jenwriter17 Oh, and every time I read your title I start singing “It’s a Big, Wide, Wonderful World.” 😛

@jenwriter17 I like it!
Your poem has a much better chance of getting accepted by SE than any of mine do, because yours has meaning, while all mine are silly, empty comic poems. 😛 So congratulations on that! 😀
I don’t know much (anything 😉 ) about free verse, so I can’t give you a lot of suggestions. There are a couple of lines that don’t q…[Read more]

Well, I’m usually fairly good at sewing, but apparently lacy petticoats are beyond me.

Yep, I’m just sewing at the moment so I’m going to be a bit in and out for a while.

I don’t have anything much to do today so I’ll probably be here.

I don’t remember who’s it was, but I think it was the third one. It had a ghost Mona Lisa trying to destroy her portrait

I thought we did pretty well. My favourite one was the one with the ghost Mona Lisa though. 😛

Bye!
Are you around tonight?
I just got distracted reading the Mona Lisa entries 😛

I like that question 🙂 High-Praise would have a phoenix, Courageous would have a talking horse and Yilla would probably go for a horse like Shadowfax.
@Catwing Welcome!

@jenwriter17 I love giving my characters middle names. its an obsession 😛
Hmm… that one’s difficult. I can imagine Yilla working as a mechanic, High-Praise being an archaeologist or explorer, and Courageous being a teacher or something.
Would your character like to get married?

@jenwriter17 Okay good. I don’t just have a bad memory then!
The Bible 😛 But other than that. Courageous would like the Lord of the Rings, High-Praise wouldn’t like Anna Karenina but it would do her good, Yilla would probably like Les Miserables or Little Dorrit.
Do your characters have middle names?

(Who are Vega and Nym? Do I know them? Do I just have a bad memory?)
Melted ice cream for all. After all, that’s basically just milk with sugar in it.
Would your character prefer to visit the desert or the snow?
