@seekjustice I got the idea when I watched a movie, and there was this girl I loved, who I thought was a main character, but then she ended up in despair and crying in her last scene, and the end of the movie – probably ten minutes – was without her completely! I got so mad and decided I could do a better than those horrible mean unfeeling…[Read more]

I remember that one, vaguely. What’s the plot?
Well, I guess I always knew more about Marie Antoinette, I knew that she died and though she did do horrible things, she didn’t have a nice life, and I feel it was mostly through other people’s greediness that she became a “villain”. I don’t even remember being aware that Anastasia…[Read more]

It’s always helpful to be alive
Wow.
Okay, I’m working on a short story set in the 50s. I’ve had it going for a while, but a few weeks ago I lost about a thousand words and got discouraged. I was listening to some 50s music on Saturday and was reminded of it, so I decided to try again. So far it’s going pretty well… 🙂

@rochellaine Oh, I didn’t know the profiles could tell you that! I have been on the forums a couple of times in the past week, just so I didn’t miss out on too much, but no, I hadn’t really been active. I’m glad I wasn’t dead, it’s always helpful to be alive 😀
I’m also glad to be back! I missed the whole lovely community here!
Okay, cool :D…[Read more]

@seekjustice When I’d missed you for several days I checked your profile, which said you’d been signed in recently, so then I knew you weren’t dead… 😀
But you still hadn’t posted in a week, which was why I messaged you. Glad you’re back!
I’ll be here for a little while – not sure quite how long – and I’ll probably be around again in about…[Read more]

@rochellaine *squeals in return* It’s been crazy lately, but I am back!! I’m hoping to finish my second draft edits before the end of March, so I actually need to put some effort in! And yes I’m here for now, not sure how long I’ll be here, but I’ll definitely be on again in three(ish) hours.
@jenwriter17 I’ve missed you as well! I’ll see, I’m…[Read more]

@Jenwriter17 I like Han, but if 70 year old Harrison Ford played young Han I would be happier. XD
Okay so maybe this new actor dude won’t be too bad? I don’t know. I’m just reserving judgement until I see the actual movie.
As for Rey and Kylo…no offense to anyone, but I absolutely don’t like them together. 😉

@Jenwriter17 as Elizabeth said, the plot points of writing a movie script is the same as a fiction novel. And as Rochellaine said there’s a lot of different people who take part in the storytelling.
My #1 tip: imagine every single word you write as happening in a movie. If you can see it perfectly in the movie style, then write down the small…[Read more]

You know you’re a writer when you’re watching a murder mystery with your family and you say something like, “Wouldn’t it be interesting if they switched places because no one would know the difference…” unwittingly revealing the key to the entire mystery before the murder even takes place. :/

@jenwriter17 I also have no experience in writing for film. 🙁 I have a little (very little) experience with stage plays, and my mom is really good at that, but as for movies – well, that’s quite different.
But as I was thinking I remembered something I had once heard/thought about the difference between books and movies.

@aislinn-mollisong @dekreel @daeus @seekjustice @winter-rose @ethryndal @sam-kowal Hey Beta-readers! 😀
You all have helped me so much in the making of my novel. It’s come so soooo far in the last 6 months. Hopefully, with a couple more round of edits, I’ll be ready to send it off to agents, editors and publishing companies.
Because of that, I…[Read more]

@dekreel Amen, sister.
I wonder when I’ll stop doing that. Because I’m always doing it. Sometimes, I make myself higher than others, and sometimes I have to bury my head in a pillow.

@dragon-snapper No problem.
That just made me realize how awesome talking about it with other KeePers would be!
Have no fear, though. I will tell Stan to keep quiet as well
Sure thing.

@dragon-snapper Sure! I hope I haven’t bumbled about it too much already… I was really excited about it X)
