It looks so cool! I haven’t actually got around to looking for the original yet, but the Goodman Theatre (I’ve never even heard of Goodman Theatre before) looks awesome. I also saw a school production of Bonnie Jean, but they weren’t highland dancing, I’ve no idea what it was, but it wasn’t highland dancing.

@skredder Okay, that makes sense. 🙂  Thanks for the info!  I hadn’t heard about the different kinds of cows, but my mom’s always wondered if we’d be less allergic to non-processed milk.  We’ve never been able to try it out, though, since our schedule isn’t regular enough for us to own any milking animals. 🙁

Also, thank you, I am irrevocably in love with Brigadoon and I’ve just been watching snippets from the Goodman Theatre version and my word it’s amazing! And the dancing….I now have a future in musical theatre.

@seekjustice I have an argument for that.  This is a writers’ corner, not a writing corner.  So, since we’re all writers, it doesn’t really matter whether we’re writing or not.  We can still hang out here.

Hmm, that’s interesting! I can drink A2 milk (which I think is what you’re talking about the different proteins) even though it still has some lactose, I just can’t drink a lot.

I think I have heard of the goat/cow milk, but I’d never heard of the duck/chicken eggs.

@seekjustice No idea.  But apparently a lot of people who are allergic to cow’s milk can eat/drink goat’s milk without any problems.  Same thing with eggs.  Two of my sisters are allergic to chicken eggs, but they eat duck eggs instead. 🙂
