There’s seriously no poison ivy or poison oak, as far as I know. But there’s things like the Stinging Tree, which as you’ve probably astutely observed, stings.

I’m having a horrible time typing tonight because some poison ivy I got during camping suddenly swelled up into a huge bubble between two of my fingers, so moving them hurts. 🙁  I was intending to work on writing, but I guess I’m stuck with researching.

😀 I don’t blame you. Australia is a rather exotic location, given that most books are set in America or Britain.

True, I’ll work on that. I’ve been reading through the novel, but I’m not finding much of use.

I imagine Zac wearing a very typical Australian outfit–a chequered Drizabone shirt, or something similar, jeans and riding boots. So probably not all that different from what you’re imagining.

In the book, the servant is let go, in all of the adaptions that I’ve seen, he’s been killed. Did that have anything to do with your plot twist?
