@jenwriter17 You don’t even know what my voice sounds like! 😛
Um, let’s see…
Well, I would say sing all the time. Around the house, while doing your work, while driving, whatever. Practice does make perfect, and your voice will get stronger with use. You probably already do this, though. 😉
The one thing that really bugs me about mo…[Read more]

@jenwriter17 Yeah, no, I wouldn’t have gotten more than a few pages into it by now, probably. I do most of my reading in the evening.
Remember, she made my Jonas scene canon! 😀 Of course she changed it quite a bit so it would fit in with the story correctly, but Jonas does visit Chessy in jail! 😀 😀

@jenwriter17 Okay. 🙂
Well, actually she let me start reading the second draft early. I think @dekreel has also started reading the second draft. SeekJustice was letting me read it as she was writing it. 😉

@jenwriter17 I’m fine. 🙂
Yes, of course. 😉 I already had several people read it, and I just wanted a quick perspective on how the opening was going and what types of things I might need to change before I got too far into the book. So I’ve got that, and can write again. And by the time you’re ready, I should have more written for you to re…[Read more]

@jenwriter17 I’d probably faint if @seekjustice appeared at this time of day. 😛 But I’m here for just a little bit.

@seekjustice I haven’t been there in a really long time either. I’ll have to take a look sometime soon.
Haha, I plan to, actually. Someday. But I’m afraid you all will be shocked when I do. 😛
Signing out now. Goodnight!

Yes, it was from a few weeks ago. I was just catching up on their blog because I hadn’t looked at it in ages.
You’re on a slippery slope, my friend, one day you will kill a character if you keep going this way.

@seekjustice Oh, no! 😛 The article does sound interesting though. Was it recently published?
But I am giving my little Bathshua quite a bit of trouble, am I not? I would certainly never let her die, though. A dead father who betrayed everyone, a life of persecution, a broken arm, and a loss of faith are enough for anyone to go through, don…[Read more]

I was wondering what had happened to you!
It’s going well, thanks, I’ve almost got my stuff together to send out. Also, I’m in a good mood because I just found an article on Story Embers detailing three reasons why you should kill a main character 😛

@seekjustice I didn’t go to sleep this time, just disappeared for a while. I had some other stuff to do. 😉
How’s it going?

@catwing How are your books coming?
@seekjustice I suppose not. 🙂
Oh, did I ever tell you? A little bit after reading Sapphire’s death scene I went downstairs and was talking to my sister. She asked me if I’d been sleeping, because my eyes looked tired. I said I’d been crying, and she looked sorry, and said gently, “Oh? Why?” or som…[Read more]

Ah you couldn’t bear Jonas’ death for a second time?

@catwing Cool, what about?
@seekjustice Ah, and that reminds me. I still haven’t finished your second draft. I stopped right before Jonas’s death. 🙁 Maybe I’ll have time to get to the end of it tonight.

@catwing Cool. 🙂
Uh, well, my site is at aclassicfuture.com, but I haven’t posted anything in a really long time. Over a month, at least. I’m not very good at doing things on schedule. 🙁
Got to work meaning work on your writing, or something else?

@catwing Oh, I just read a good article on that the other day. http://www.abbiee.com/2018/07/which-social-media-should-you-use/
@rochellaine I feel triumphant because…I can. Also, I don’t feel like doing anything but I’ve got to work anyway, so that’s worth feeling triumphant about. I’m doing okay, but I’m still not great, a bit sick still.
