Not this year. I’d like to, but time is not my own.
Yay!! I’ll be joining YDubs too! Still a KaPeefer at heart, but I do want more professional feedback and stuff seeing how I’d like to publish mainstream.

Great!
I think… It could go either way. I think something like Scout: Secret of the Swamp would be good.(Also Nancy Drew did the same thing) Occasional illustrations, half or full page, but never two pages. It would be fun to imitate a drawing style of the time.

She looks protective of her friends. And they’re so fuzzy… I love the big kitty expressions.
Aw, Marcel! I like this. Sweet and relaxed. Precious!
I’m terrible about not sharing art too.. and about not finishing art. I’m tempted to suggest a challenge group where I have to draw and share if you draw and share……[Read more]

Fabulous memes, everyone!
You know, writing a research paper for worldbuilding sounds like great fun. Is it about your own systems or those real world things that provide you with inspiration?
Also, poor Seb. But she can adopt him, right? 🙃

The Saboteuse — C. S. Lewis
Pity hides in the wood,
The years and tides,
The earth, the bare moon,
Death and birth,
The freezing skies, the sun
and the populous seas
Against her, one and all,
Are furiously incensed.
They have clashed spears to drown
The noise of her tears;
They whetted swords. Still
They cannot forget.
Her faint…[Read more]

Been relying on psalms for the last few days of chaos, but at last, I’ve made it here to post a favorite poet and couple poems.
The Late Passenger – C. S. Lewis
The sky was low, the sounding rain was falling dense and dark, // And Noah’s sons were standing at the Window of the Ark.
The beasts were in, but Japhet said, ‘I see one creature more…[Read more]

Wondering if this is a side product of language learning, or if I’m just weird.
Me: Let’s describe this situation as clearly as possible.
My brain: *gibberish*
Me: Do you ever whisper nonsense in your head because real words don’t describe right?
My cousins: What.
Me: I should probably go to bed.
*Thinking about a convo in a book* I…[Read more]

Christmas has been different, but wonderful. Usually on odd years, we travel across the country to see my mom’s family, but this year we stayed home and two of my aunts and their families came. We celebrated with them, and with some other cousins we haven’t seen in ages. In fact, my siblings , two cousins from our mom’s side, and me…[Read more]
