@timothy-young Like others mentioned, I think that’s a hard FQ to make work for a historical event. The question Daeus put down (“what is poetic justice if good people are so often punished?”) may work as a much better FQ for that story! If I were writing about that event, I would probably focus the story on the problem of evil and what it mea…[Read more]

@timothy-young Yes, Kate is right. Some real life events are complex and it requires an intricate understanding of their complexities to be able to approach them from the right angle.
I think the essence of your question is “what is poetic justice if good people are so often punished?” The answer is that God is handling all the people in the…[Read more]

@Timothy-Young welllll… considering that the whole point of storytelling is that it mirrors real life, trying to assign your own interpretation to a historical event for the purpose of making a thematic point can be dangerous. My advice to you would be, don’t try to fit a real event into a pre-existing framework, but study the event until you…[Read more]

Now now girls. *wise look* Let’s not sabotage the thread, here.
@GracieGirl @Ethryndal in all matters regarding my story, refer to my agent, @Emma-Flournoy. 😛Beautiful artwork, everyone.
And can I just say I’m extremely pleased that the artsy side of this community is getting such good development now? Carry on, wonderful pencil-wielding KeePers. 😀 -

@anne-of-lothlorien I went on a relatively tame one when I was younger at Adventure World and I didn’t like the jerking turns for it. It wasn’t even very high up or anything, it was literally just a kiddy coaster 😛 I also went on a Dinosaur coaster when we went to LEGOland, California when I was five and I didn’t like it very much either.
Oddly…[Read more]

@emma-flournoy *dodges flailing limbs* You’ll be happy to know that all this Uncharted stuff is driving me crazy. In the meantime, please don’t hurt yourself. 😉
@graciegirl, I’m going to repeat several people and say, I LOVE THAT WATCH. Seriously.

@anne-of-lothlorien I love rollercoasters!!!!
Anyways…*ahem* There is no one to help you now, Lady of Lothlorien! *puts you in dungeon which has lots of roller coasters* -

@anne-of-lotherlorian A boat ride. There is no way I’m going on a roller-coaster.

@anne-of-lothlorien @dragon-sanpper If you think it’s hard to purposefully ruin your manuscript, I have an actual book called Wreck This Journal. Yeah. It was so pretty and perfect when I first got it, but now it’s all scribbled on, pages have been torn out, folded, ripped, stained, put through the wash in my pocket, the book has been tossed,…[Read more]

@dragon-snapper I don’t have a dog because I have cats. Three of ’em. And putting a mutt in a moggie home is a death sentence. Two of them don’t always get along superbly as it is 😉 XD I like dogs well enough – I do prefer cats. But I know a few sweet pooches who I absolutely adore, and if we had a pup, I’m sure I’d love it because it would be…[Read more]

@perfectfifths *gasp* You don’t have woodpeckers or dogs! Noooooo!!!! 😛 Why don’t you have a dog? Do you not like them??? Or something else?
@anne-of-lothlorien You are lucky that @daeus is a moderator, because I would melt you now if it weren’t for the king. Still, I cannot answer that question. I would rather melt the document myself that have…[Read more] -

@anne-of-lothlorien I will see what I can do, but one thing I have found with these legends is that they are very testy, and very hard to write in each request. 😀 But I will see what I can do. *glances down at you* Erm. You can rise now. I know I’m Ruler of the World and all…but hey. Kneeling for weeks at a time can get tiring. 😀
