@winter-rose @that_writer_girl_99 Well, I’m leaving now. I got sort of something done. Which is good. Happy writing! (And eating lunch, as the case may be.)

@winter-rose *jazz hands*
@that_writer_girl_99 Silly dishes. How dare they come between a writer and her writing. 🙂

@sleepwalkingmk Okay–good work there. Your revision of the first EiL is looking better too; I’m seeing the connections more between obedience & the story’s theme.
We’ll be covering villains and other major characters later on in the course, but one quick thing to think about with regards to your villain: how is his EiL going to be related to the…[Read more]

Ugh… I’m going to be out of the country over the 3rd. That’s disappointing. I can’t believe I’ve never been able to make it to one of theses things yet. 🙁

@anne-of-lothlorien Well, he’s the Wiser. The answer is always bound to be yes. All he needs now is a frog. 😛
@perfectfifths Umm… I don’t know. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a kookaburra. Wait…how do you say ‘herb’?
Oh, and dragons, even american dragons, they know everything. 😀 -

@michael-stanton Well, dragons smelling like coffee is certainly a good reason. Coffee smells amazing! Did I make you a worthy enough evil overlord? 😉
@jane-maree Thank you. 😀
@kina-lamb *waves* *unwaves* Wait. You like tea? Ew. Unfortunately, dragons aren’t really ones for tea…
But anyway, glad you liked it! 😀 And poor Daeus. Soy ice…[Read more] -

Pretty much. Only tea wouldn’t be in my top ten descriptions of myself, and I only smell like wintergreen occasionally when I use this one oil to relieve back tension, and I only love to garden when I’m not writing, which means I don’t like to garden very much, and I do eat ice cream every day and I am very fat.

Oh snapper! (that’s you, @dragon-snapper) this is really good! I enjoyed reading it. 😀 Please write more!!!! I loved that the Count of Monte Cristo was in Spanish, and that Daeus couldn’t read it, and that it was torture. So true. 😀 Except… Daeus probably would have been able to figure out how to read it in Spanish by reciting the Count of…[Read more]

Sci-Fi Tips Part 13
The idea of combining the past and future is not new. Ever heard of steampunk or its lesser-known, but still super awesome, cousin dieselpunk? They are genres that combine both past and futuristic elements, and they’re super popular. The renown of such genres exists because an anachronistic setting raises the question, “…[Read more]
