I think, @daeus, the story goal is for the hero to embrace his purpose. So, I suppose it’s a story of self-discovery.

ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm …. I’m not sure if I should tell you that, @daeus . It’s kinda a secret.

I actually do chapter outlines and scene outlines, (nothing fancy, just between 1 word and 2 sentences that remind me and summarize what takes place) usually after I’ve already written them and they are partly finished, just so I know at a glance what takes place in them.

I don’t think she lacks vulnerability, @daeus . You can see her sensitiveness in chapter two. She seems pretty vulnerable to me then, ‘though she doesn’t complain or whine to them about how she feels or what she’s been through. That would be none of their business since she doesn’t really know them yet.
