If your friend is hurt by her parents’ actions, you could try to get through to her with that. You could tell her about her Father in heaven who will never do the hurtful things her parents did. God is all-loving and wants to save her from eternal death and bring her an everlasting life in heaven with Him.

Heyyyy has anyone heard of J. Warner Wallace or Lee Stroble? If not, they’re really great authors who write about apologetics. What’s interesting is that they both used to be atheists, and by trying to prove the Bible to be false, they were overwhelmed by the evidence supporting God and converted to Christianity. I highly recommend their books.
