Honestly, I laughed aloud after reading that XD I didn’t even think about it 😀
Well, the evolution we see in real time is evolution in regard to change within a kind, not change of kind. We have never seen in fossil records nor in person a single change of one creature to another creature. We can also look at…[Read more]

Good points. I would say, based on your response, that even if God is somehow material, the atheist still has one problem. If the atheist says, “The Big Bang caused the universe,” I would respond, “Who created the Big Bang?” They have the same problem that Christians supposedly face, but here’s the difference. There needs to be a…[Read more]

I don’t really know where it will take me, but I do want to become a preacher. I plan on including lots of apologetics in my sermons. I am learning to code, so I’ve considered making a website that includes Christian apologetics.

OrangeArmadillo replied to the topic kids/teen charries in the forum Characters 1 year, 5 months ago
I agree. Most of my characters don’t have much depth in maturity level, so this is something I think about a lot. I may put in some characters, but there’s only one teenager in my writings that I know well enough to put in here. Excited to see what others put in here! 😀

Yes, my sister made a forum for our book anyway.
I agree that there’s a lot more to it. But they are nothing in comparison to reality in my opinion. They are just discovering more mathematical facts that could possibly prove that in some other reality, hyperbolic or spherical geometry exist. The mathematical laws we see describe…[Read more]

So…
I don’t believe that God created Himself. I believe that He is immaterial and does not need to be created. Just like concepts aren’t be produced by labor– they just exist. He also created time, which means He exists in the past, present, and future all at once. So, He didn’t exist “forever”, at least not how we often mean…[Read more]

Yes, that is what I meant about soft world building, and yes, I do very much like harsh extremes or seemingly doomed situations XD (generally it works out in the end though).
About the WIP, I’m wanting to start one, but my main focus is a trilogy me and @Solfyre , my sister, are writing. It has lots of wasteland, so I guess it…[Read more]

YEAH!!!! I can’t say I’ve ever gotten 15% through a book before, not a good one anyway lol.

I like math and Biblical studies too!
I’d say hard world building, that way it can’t be interpreted the wrong way at the start of the book and cause confusion in the future.
Well, I really like the idea of dystopian areas. Wasteland or volcanic areas, or even on a moon.
Here’s my take on that last question. If God were to not…[Read more]

So me and my sister each do four characters, which kind of ties into your other question. My sister does four of the seven who went to the mountain, and I do three of them plus a Dicero Commander named Izor. He plays a big part because he helps the seven with his army.
Yeah, we came up with it one day and then wrote like four chapters…[Read more] -

It’s about a bunch of weird creatures, like the armadillo-warrior-people, who get into a war over a prince’s bad decision (idk what the decision is yet). One or two people from each race other than the Diceros (basically Rhinos) go to a magical mountain to get powers. They do, but they also see an evil force called the Murk while they…[Read more] -

Thanks! That character is in a trilogy I’m writing with my sister.
What type of stuff do you like to write?-
Your sister has mentioned working with you on multiple occasions. What’s the story about?
Hmm, I like writing fantasy, but sometimes I’ll go the more sci-fi vein with superhero stories. (Although I’ve never actually finished a book XD). I enjoy the exaggerated and the ridiculous, so some of my character’s descriptions have a cartoony feel.
You?-

Sounds like it was inspired by animals living in the grasslands and savannas. Do you and your sister each have one character, or are there other important characters? Why didn’t the Diceros go?

I may have misread your question. I thought you meant encouraging someone who is already a Christian, but now I’m thinking you meant someone who is no longer a Christian but used to be.
So, if that’s the case, I would try to say something like, “Hey, you wanna come to church/youth group/a church event, etc.?” Then if they say no, I…[Read more]

Cool! I’ve always wanted to learn JavaScript and HTML, mainly because you can make websites with them. I want to be a preacher and Christian game designer (I know, weird combination), so I thought it would be good to build a website for it all. Python’s neat too. I’ve seen it used for stuff like API for different websites, but I’ve…[Read more]

the verse you mentioned is a great one to go by. Lots of people will try to use it the wrong way and say that since Jesus says to have childlike faith, we are somehow unresponsible for knowing how to defend our faith. But that’s not true. By childlike faith, Jesus meant to be humble and respect God as Father, knowing that we need Him to…[Read more]
