Basically my question is more of “Is this supposed to be a hypothetical eighth continent or small island somewhere in the world, or does this Earth have completely different continents, and the biblical places exist in different configurations?”
Sorry for such a weird question, and sorry if I’ve asked something similar before, but I just…[Read more]

@ellette-giselle I see. But is there a Europe somewhere else (nearby?), or does the island-continent in your map completely replace it?
As in, was the “Rome” referred to in the book of Romans what eventually became the Empire, or is it a different place in a different part of the world, and the two have similar cultures either just because…[Read more]

Since they have a Bible just like ours and reference the places within, this must take place on an alternate Earth; where, geographically, do you think it’d replace in our world?

or like water creatures. Look up the Mosasaurus, it’s a giant extinct lizard which had fins instead on legs and swam instead of dwelling on land.

@ellette-giselle I can see that now. The map is awesome.
….are there actually dragons?
(if you don’t wanna go the hyper fantasy route, they could just be large lizards. Think Komodo dragons.)

@ellette-giselle cool, cool, I guess there’ll be a little town there from now on. I didn’t see the map, or if I did it was a while back ago.
are they still living in the cave or have they started doing something else? I can remember a few stories of Christian factions escaping into caves and stuff to avoid persecution and living there for a while.

@ellette-giselle wow! So are the other Christians gonna stay in the mountains forever (well, not forever, but at least for a decently long time, maybe make a town there) or are they gonna go over the mountains and to some hypothetical other side?

Ugh. I sound so heartless and not at all like I was tearing up AGAIN when I edited that scene, even though I’ve been over it more times then I can count.

@ellette-giselle ngl “We’ll never know” is better than explicitly saying they died to me.

- In the distant past, there was a third Argonite variation which could be either crocodilian or sharklike but also had scaly wings. They’ve been extinct for centuries, and no…

I don’t know whether to say ‘wow’… or ‘ew’…
Scout: Welcome to my life.

Huntress: A whole solar system of planets, actually. The Systemic Republic, where we’re from, is made up of fifty habitable planets and moons, all under one central government. Shawmut, Lygon, a…[Read more]

@liberty IDK. It’s just a term of endearment I think.
I think it’s odd, but hey, we’re writers, we’re odd people, so I don’t get too upset.
