Carrot Cake: “Oh… I guess you don’t! But HEEE does!” *Carrot Cake points at Sniper* “And you have a weird devils tongue… ARE YOU FROM HELL?! Is there fire there? But I think that weird girl looks weird too! She must be weird, and as weird as can be! Did I mention she is weird? She has weird eyes!” *Carrot Cake uses her fingers t…

I don’t particularly enjoy heaven scenes either, but when an author takes a moment to show that God is actually with us down here, like when Aaron knew Jesus was so close and when the Maker talks to Janner at the Fane of Fire and felt the love of the Maker wrap around him at the end…that’s beautiful. It reminds us that ev…

Oof, yeah no. I plum don’t like Victor Hugo’s writing, so I’m with you on that.

His name is Smaug and he’s a dragon.
lol, my work computer’s name is Wheatley. It was the name of a robot in a video game; he’s nice most of the time but betrays the player character when he’s plugged into a corrupted mainframe. So I figured I’d name my computer that just in case there’s a robotic revolution or something and it…[Read more]

Not sure where you go that from the board, but interesting guess…………
Oh, it was a prediction that came from the general feel of the board, and the last book.
Oh, well thanks for straightening that out! I had considered it. 😂
*Bows* You’re welcome. Glad I could be of service.
Interesting. I would say a majority of my charact…

2)Nearly everyone we love will get hurt.
3)Leon and Jullian’s pasts will come back to haunt them.
4)There will not be a plane crash, or a nuclear war.
5)The journal will be continued.

No, we don’t do infant baptism. We will baptize children who understand what baptism is ect. and want to be baptized (I was baptized at 6 years old for instance), but we don’t baptize infants. While a soul is the same size no matter the age, we believe baptism must be a choice just like the rest of salvation, a decision on the…[Read more]

@ellette-giselle how bout it?
on the violence, I grew up reading Warrior Cats where characters are killed in terrible ways. It shouldn’t be any worse than that, especially since you have a Christian perspective on violence (for example, not just adding it in for shock factor)

Aight Jonas, did it
My boundaries aren’t super good right now, but this semester was technology-heavy because of my thesis, so I’ve been focusing on that. I think stress avoidance plays a huge factor for me, and being on technology distracting myself is better than crashing in a stressful situation.
And in all honesty, the things I…[Read more]

It’s up to you. Most names have been used for popular media characters at some time in the past. Your character’s identity doesn’t ride on how original their name is. But if it bothers you too much, change it.

I’ve always been picky about who to kill off, I’m a strong believer in having thematic reasons and not just irl logical reasons, or even emotional reasons. Can’t just kill them off to make people sad. But this character ticks off all the requirements.
Technically I can bring parts of them back. The magic system allows dead…[Read more]

The theif on the cross didn’t need to be baptized. Even in modern day, we don’t convict someone for things that where done before a law was passed.
I’m… prrreeEtty dArn certain Jesus’ words on that cross are still relevant today.
Jesus’ disciples taught, and we listen to them, but they were originally taught by Jesus. I trust in His cho…[Read more]

In fact, I think 1 Peter 3:21 perfectly juxtaposes the physical and spiritual aspects of this topic

Plus, given God emphasizes our inability to save ourselves with deeds in the physical ream, it would be kinda weird for him to say “focus on Jesus alone, and your spirit will be saved” and then say “mkay but you have to get physically baptized or else you’re in trouble.” I believe in baptism as part of the salvation process, but I think the giving…[Read more]
