@Ethryndal that is just tragical.

@Ethryndal aww, thanks. *cough* Calligraphy isn’t really all that difficult to master… anyone can do it… might like to give it a try yourself… 😉
Ha! Glad you like the shading; I was actually a little conflicted over that particular highlight, but I guess I was right to add it. 😀@I-J-Anderson awesome! Glad you like her; she’s your…[Read more]

Also I tried to make her skin look blue… which you can see was a mistake, because now she looks neither blue nor pale. 😛 But live and learn. Next time I know. 😉

Love that last one, @R-J-Wordsmith. *grins* Makes me want to write it…
Thanks for these. Definitely using them. -

@Christi-Eaton thanks. *grins* I’ve never drawn a pixy-character before, but the sharp, angular feel of it was incredibly fun to work with.

@I-J-Anderson I drew her… and now I’m feeling not-extremely-bright because I just realized I spelled her name with one R. :/
Oh well. Overlook it if you can. 😉 She was lots of fun to draw.

@Aratrea hmm… yesssss… probbbably the Primary Tempter? I mean… yeah, that makes sense. Okay. Yes. Primary Tempter. There may be some slight overlap between that and both of the other two, but that’s the main one.
It makes me very happy to hear you like it… I actually can’t take credit though because his connection to Harold’s EiL was…[Read more] -

@audrey-caylin The book is now added to my three-hundred-some book list. 😉
Thanks for the feedback there! That’s great to know. And yes–interpersonal conflict like that is the best.

@jane-maree There’s a lot of stuff to sift through there since it’s more of a story summary than a series of plot-points, but it sounds like you have the basic elements down. I would narrow the 3rd plot point down a bit more to that specific scene where Will runs, though, rather than the whole narrative.
In terms of how these connect to the…[Read more]

@audrey-caylin What Daeus said. You can have non-personal antagonistic forces, but something like that would just be a negative EiL
@kate-flournoy Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. I love how Eldred functions as the villain here. That’s fantastic. Would Eldred be the Primary Tempter then, or does he function more as one of the other roles? And then Egann…[Read more]

@audrey-caylin Yes; mentors can make great antagonists–and I really like the way you use that antagonism to make the protagonist doubt the mentor’s loyalty. The mentor sounds like an influencer to me.
The primary difference between a foil and influencer is how directly the character tries to move the protagonist to their position. Since it…[Read more]

@audrey-caylin Great to hear that! What do you think made this lesson the most interesting lesson yet for you?
Haven’t read either of those books unfortunately, but both look like good examples!

@I-J-Anderson oooh… I want to try Angelique. Actually in all honesty I want to try all of them, :’D but I doubt if I’ll have time and I want to leave some awesome ones for the others. 😉

Okay. I’ve mentioned some of this already in the other homework assignments, but my primary villain (I’ll get to his brother in a minute) pretty much set/justified Harold’s EiL. (That the world is worth saving because man is ultimately good). Wayyyy back in the backstory of the story, the villain— when he was young and optimistic and…[Read more]
