Are you a senior then? I’m a junior, and it’s scary that I’ll be applying to colleges next summer. O_O I can’t believe it! Congratulations on being accepted! That’s awesome. 🙂

Where are you looking at going right now? And what year are you in High School? Just wondering because I’m in the same boat… 😉

@His-Instrument YES!!! Les Miserables! My favorite book ever! I love that one. And you haven’t even got to the good part yet. *wiggles eyebrows*
And the Chronicles of Narnia— yes. I reread them recently, and was actually stunned how deep they are. I’d only had them read to me before, when I was seven or eight, and so much of the allegory I…[Read more]

@sarah-h I won’t be here later, so I won’t be able to write with you if you are. Sorry, try again tomorrow night. 🙂
-
@bluejay Oh, I’m so glad. Last night, I fell asleep before I could get on KP, so if you had been able to write, I would have missed you. 🙂
-
Sorry @sarah-h I won’t be here tonight either. My brother is borrowing my laptop so I’ll have to wait. 😉
-
@bluejay Don’t be sorry! I was volunteering for the Saturday night thing at church tonight, and I’m too worn out to write. 🙂
-
P.S. You changed your profile picture! I like it.
-
@bluejay How ’bout tonight? I’m kinda tired, so I won’t write unless you’re up for it. 🙂
-
Never mind. I can’t keep my eyes open any longer. 🙂 Good night!
-
Thank you. I’m glad you like it. (So do I)
And I’m sorry I missed you, but I couldn’t write either, so it turned out alright. We had visitor over for tea.
@sarah-h -
@sarah-h *may your notifications work* Are you writing tonight??? I am. 🙂
-
-
-
-
@bluejay Yay! We did it! 🙂 Sure, I can write tonight. I’m going to try to finish the, ummm, thingwe’reworkingon, and I’m almost finished, so I might not be on very long.
-
@sarah-h YES! Contact. We can move into the Writers’ Corner #3 to post word scores when we’re done.
Oh good. I’m looking forward to seeing what you’ve come up with. 🙂-
@bluejay Should I paste it into the email, or send it as an attachment?
-
Either one will work for me. You choose @sarah-h
-
@bluejay It’s off! 🙂
-
Got it @sarah-h I’ll have a look at it tomorrow as I have to go to bed now. Good night.
-
@bluejay Me too. Good night! 🙂
-
@sarah-h I’m writing. Are you around to join me??? 🙂
-
@bluejay I’m sorry I missed you! We stayed up watching the election, and now it’s time for me to go to bed. Good night! 🙂
-
@sarah-h Who won? You might not get this till tomorrow, but that won’t matter.
Oh, I read the outline that you did, and at the moment I have no questions. I think it is very good and I’m going to have lots of fun writing it. 🙂 -
@bluejay That’s the question every American is asking right now. They’re having trouble counting the votes- it looks like it will be pretty close either way. I personally think Trump won, but we won’t know until the morning.
Oh, I’m so glad you like it! I can’t wait to see the end result. 🙂 -
@sarah-h According to Mum, Trump is in. Hillary had conceded and packed up. Why we know before America I have no idea? Apparently Trump made it in easily so I have no idea what is going on. I guess we’ll just have to wait till tomorrow to know for definite.
-
@bluejay Trump won. I think our media is biased. It’s so funny that you know who our president is before we do.

Kate Flournoy replied to the topic Signet Ring in the forum Fantasy 9 years, 6 months ago
@WarrioroftheRealm is there one particular thing that played any defining role in the villain’s life at all? Signets are chosen for their personal significance. It should be something relevant to the character. What one thing really means a lot to him? Perhaps it has some hidden symbolism.

@sleepwalkingmk
Hmm…write about someone who works at an ice cream factory and finds out about the company’s plot to bribe the world leaders with ice cream and take over the world.Okay, here’s a more serious one.
Write about a college professor’s perception of an annoying student on the first day of classes.Hope those will help you. 🙂

@hannah-krynicki
That’s an awesome prompt! The Lost Colony is so fascinating. I actually went to the “site” where the Roanoke Colony was supposed to be, and it turned out they really had almost NO evidence that the colony was there. So that was pretty disappointing, but at least it was somewhat interesting. 😉 -

Kate Flournoy replied to the topic Villain Reveal in the forum Fantasy 9 years, 6 months ago
@WarrioroftheRealm hm… let me see. My first idea was, is there any way the villain could have a motive for meeting them without revealing who he is? Maybe he could go and seek them out for that reason (is he curious? Afraid? Daring? Arrogant?) and meet them as a simple traveler, and things escalate from there.
Or maybe he needs to ship something…[Read more] -

Hey guys. I know I’ve asked this before, but I can’t remember so I thought I’d ask it again. 🙂 I need a name for a mermaid or merman that goes with Mango and Claudia. Any suggestions?
@kate-flournoy @dragon-snapper @daeus @hope @emma-flournoy @winter-rose @jess @christi-eaton-
Oceanus. Octavia. Marcellus. Cassius. Portia. Aquarius. Aquaria. Antonia. Luccellus. Lucia. Lucius.
Anything there?
@Bluejay-
I like Cassius @kate-flournoy Cause I can nickname it to Cass which is good. I like nicknames. 🙂
-
-
A kid??!! Awww… 😉
Or not?
Hmmm…um…um…this isn’t working.
Err…Claudo? Mangia? JUST KIDDING.
Ketto. OK, that has no logical background WHATSOEVER. It just popped into my head. And I know, it doesn’t sound Latin at all. 🙁-
Yes, a kid. Ahhh… 😉
Haha. I love the fact that you were trying to take it off the parents.
Ketto is a cute name and I think I know who I could use it for.
@emma-flournoy-
😀 😀
-
@emma-flournoy Having read the book yourself, how would you say Mum and Dad? Mother, Father? Papa, Mama? Pa, Ma?
-
I think just Mum and Dad will be good. Maybe Mother and Father next; but no Pa or Ma for sure. That doesn’t sound sea-ish at all. The others don’t sound sea-ish, either ( 😛 ), but for the type of story…
