@waterlily Fangs are ugly!

Er, what I mean to say is welcome, welcome, welcome. 🙂

Say, you don’t happen to know what your MBTI type is, do you?

@waterlily Welcome to the site! I’m also a big Pride and Prejudice fan, and actually have the pleasure of teaching it to one of my high school classes currently. 🙂

What’s the premise of the sci-fi novel you’re working on?

@waterlily anything that’s a good story… good taste. 😉

The @ thing is called a tag. Every user has a different one (mine is @Kate-flournoy ) and if you want them to notice something you posted, you put their tag in your post. Every time you’re tagged, you’ll get a notification. Everyone’s tags are listed beneath their avatar. 😉

@Dragon-Snapper kewl! I like. Lots going on there. 😀

Lessee… *goes and digs through her collages to see if she has anything she hasn’t shared yet*

There’s a really old one for my steampunk story, Operation Nebula.

@waterlily welcome to the bestistest place on the internet! What’s your favorite genre?

@epicaddie2 They’re from National Treasure. Well, we can pretend they’re GIFs. 😉

@shannon Who’s your favorite character? 😀 And thank you, I quite like it too. 😀 (How long did you say you’d been playing guitar?)

@epicaddie2 Um…yes. Jaron can be quite stupid sometimes. Hey, let’s taunt Cregan so that I can ride an evil unbroken horse. Yeah. That’s a good idea. *facepalm* But he makes me laugh every time I read that book.…[Read more]

@daeus @aratrea Hehe. Excellente. Organizations! 😀

@shannon Um… how ’bout ‘Freestyle Jewelry’? Nah, that sounds like swimming. 😛
‘Feather Rings’
‘Spectrum Jewelry’…wow, that sounds really sci-fi.

And I can’t think of anything else.

@donnieclark I don’t know much about writing with handscreens…or whatever you want to call them, but I’ll tag some people who might possibly be able to help.

@daughteroftheking @shannon @daeus @kate-flournoy @ingridrd @leumeister @supermonkey42

I haven’t had time to read the other posts, but I will. It is bookmarked!!

@epicaddie2

So.

Inspiration eh?

*cough*
I had this problem.

For six months.

Which is why I’m going to help you get out of it.

The way I survived those six months was by writing the first story idea that came to my head the day that I got it. Of course, now I…[Read more]

@epicaddie2 Yikes! That’s scary!

My advice is to not be a perfectionist at the moment. Just write. Time yourself even. Turn off all the internet (unless you use google docs). Do a word war with someone. You can edit everything later on. Just write.

@emily-d XD

@emily @epicaddie2 We’ve talked about doing a KP conference a fair bit as a team. We need to get ourselves financially self-sustaining first so we have the funds to launch that kind of thing, but once we do that, it’s something we want to make happen.

You know you’re a writer when your sibling leaves you sticky notes saying, “You’re such a writer.”

@sam-kowal I know the types pretty well, ’cause I’ve looked up/read a bunch of stuff about ’em, and I have a sister (Kate-Flournoy) who spouts about it quite often. Guessing people’s types is one of my favorite occupations. 😀 MBTI (and psychology in general) is very cool stuff. And congratulations on being “I” leaning too. Get the best of both…[Read more]
