@kate-flournoy Ah, good. The sword and axe was the main thing I wanted an opinion on. Also, it just came to my mind that the name might actually look better a little larger. I normally like them small, but I feel like a small increase would give it a more balanced feel. You think that’s right?

@Daeus I love it. Nothing really to complain of that I can see. I do think the picture of the man is a little fuzzy, but that may be just the distraction of all the watermarks and such on the cover. I love the crossed axe and sword. Overall, I find it very eye-catching and engaging.

@Daeus too fancy, and the swirls make them too big. Fix that, and you should be able to bump the subtitle up so it’s not so close to his head and you should be good all around.

@Daeus I really like this. 🙂 It makes me want to read it. I think having your name at the bottom would be better. Compared to your last drafts this is really fantastic. I especially like the writing in the background, which gives it that perfect mysterious and historical feel. I can’t wait to see the final version.

@Daeus heyyyy, I actually really like that. There’s a lot more for the brain to process there; it’s vastly more interesting. The only thing I can think might help with setting the genre a bit more obviously is a sword somewhere in the design… it doesn’t have to be in the actual picture, but maybe in the border… just a sword-shape. @S-G-Dewey, Well, I would not say that I am an adventurer, but if could manage to get myself back East to various places such as Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Virginia, (especially Virginia) I would be quite content. But many of my friendships are long distance and air fare from California is not cheap 🙂 but that is the way life is I’m afraid.

@Winter-Rose Just a thought here, but what about weather? Happy memories radiate light, angry memories are stormy, sad memories seem wet and rainy, confused memories foggy, memories of love all glowy and warm.
