@Dragon-Snapper if you’re in this much of a quandary, experiment. I’ve only ever done third person and I love it and I don’t think that’ll change, but if you feel like you need to switch, try it for a chapter or two. See if you like it. If it isn’t quality, you’ll only have spent a little time to solve a quandary that could have sabotaged your…[Read more]

@ethryndal @daeus @kate-flournoy @anyone else who’s done the whole rewriting thing.
So…I’m having a hard time deciding this. Writing in third person is really tough for me, and this favoritism thing might be a bit easier if I were actually writing from the POV of the introverts head. As I’m writing, I don’t like any of it. But I go onward.…[Read more] -

@That_writer_girl_99 In general? Pretty good. After all, I managed to conquer my procrastination and show up here. 😀 The writing’s going well too. Just about done with my book.

@that_writer_girl_99 Well, when there’s only one Dragon Snapper, you sometimes wonder what else there is to be afraid of. 😛
@graciegirl Yes, it’s just me. I won’t melt you. 😉 -

@hope Here is Sean…or was it Levi? Either way, not sure if it’s a likeness, but here he is anyway. 😛

@That_Writer_Girl_99 *cheeky grin* Or a writer’s best friend. I guess it just depends on your perspective. 😉
Did you? I’m not seeing it…

@Dragon-Snapper WOW THERE REALLY ARE A LOT. O.O :O
And yes indeed— hope seems to be a largely forgotten ingredient in modern literature. :/ Perhaps because God is a largely forgotten ingredient as well…?
NO PUNS @HOPE.
@GracieGirl I think I’m gonna try Lor YaZari. It may be a while before I get her to you because life, but I want to try. 😉

@kate-flournoy I love it when there is hope, even in the bad situations in stories. I think it’s something writers nowadays forget too often.

@That_Writer_Girl_99 yes! You’re getting it! 😀
Okay Kate. Settle down. Let us be calm here.
To be totally honest, I had to learn that too. 😛 It was quite a revolution for how I’d always thought, but hey. Revolutions can be good.
The thing I most love about this way of viewing plot is that it really, really develops the characters.So—…[Read more]

@That_Writer_Girl_99 awesome! *grins* I have to say she was remarkably easy to capture on the first try. I think it’s because I already had a very firm grasp of her personality due to her well-executed voice in the snippet you shared. 😉
And— I originally saw Tam with reddish blonde hair, but now that you mention that… I can totally see it. 😀

@Daeus Yes. That’s a big problem I have—you wrote the solution right there. It’s just hard to remember all the time. Thanks for saying such true truths, even if its kind of hard to consistently live by them. 😀

@FeedingMyGoldfish Wheee! Yes, I’ve tried the higher-on-bow grip before, but never long enough to get comfortable with it. 😛 I should do it more.
@ClaireC I’m F3 to F5…so that makes me like a cross between alto and mezzosoprano. I love singing, but mostly when I’m alone, or just having fun. 😛 I carry tunes well but I don’t really have technique.
