@xonos-darkgrate @dragon-snapper *kicks back and grins* You guys are totally entitled to your opinions. Far be it from me to take that from you. By all means— miss out. That makes him all mine. *evil cackling*
XD @Dragon-snapper you and I’ve been over this before. @xonos-darkgrate, just know that I have observed that among those who watched The…[Read more]

@joy I’M DOING IT! I’m really excited to try it again this year, because it’s never… really worked out for me in past years 😛
I’m a reforming pantster, so I don’t really have any tips except get started on your plotting early XD
What genre is your novel and what will it be about?

@salome01w4g The Force Awakens is galaxies better. (Pun intended.) You have to see it.

@seekjustice I just took a look at your blog! (I’ll be back for sure) I especially like your books page where you have your books in progress. You have quite a few projects going at the same time!

@xonos-darkgrate @salome01w4g @daeus agreed, Krennic is awesome. Favorite character… eh. I can’t pick. 😛 Probably Cassian. I love K2 though.

@xonos-darkgrate I totally love that guy. Rogue One wasn’t my favorite movie, but the villain wins big awesomeness points imo.

@xonos-darkgrate YES. Oh please, don’t get me started. It’s got to be one of my favorite movies ever, and I’m really picky too.

Okay! I think I’ve got it now. I still want to come up with a dramatic tagline, but the rest of it’s done. What do you think?
Trevor is in a mess. After traveling back in time, he and his sister get trapped in medieval England where a mad scientist rules the country with technology and terror. As war brews, Trevor gets the chance to prove his…[Read more]

@raevynstar I wrestled through the same question when writing my second book. I think the key is to not make Fiona completely unlikeable. Give her some likeable traits and give the reader some hints that she’s eventually going to change. If you can also give her sympathetic motivations for her unsympathetic actions and show us what sort of things…[Read more]

@raevynstar Confidence is key. A good spoiled brat sees the world in black and white. Their confidence in themselves is unflinching and they don’t consider other ways of looking at things. Such firmness inspires respect, even in fools.
Don’t know if that fits your character, but it’s one thing that works really well.

Well, the version of a synopsis I know is a maximum of 10 page summary of a book that describes the plot, characters, message, world and the writer’s thoughts. Soooo… I assume these are slightly different things in Australia. That’s all.
That’s my definition of a synposis too…I mean, that’s a good reason for writer’s to hate…[Read more]

@daeus I agree about the last sentence/paragraph thing (and most of what the others said about rewording throughout). I don’t think the whole thing should be dumped, but particularly just the last sentence sounds sort of pushy and/or excluding or something along those lines. If you were to cut it, it might need replacing with something else, but I…[Read more]
