Hmm. Welp, I do write poetry, if it can be called that.
Also I have no idea what age group my stories are for when I’m writing them, but I definitely have a few that feel like children’s books so you are not alone :] I don’t have very many externally dark themes in my stories usually that would make it YA.
*Grateful hugs*
It does feel…[Read more]

Other possible titles for anyone who wants one of them. =D
The Optimist Thundercloud
The Local Amnesiac
The Chaos Gremlin
The Exhausted Chemist and or Mixer of Reality

I remember watching it when I was younger and being creeped out. It’s such a fun film.
Why do these two sentences make sense together? Like, why?

Or at least, titling things. I can name stuff all day long. It’s the officially titlely stuff that gets hard. Most of my books aren’t even titled.

For a title for myself, don’t really know that I’ve done anything of great impact here. I do seem to write more children’s fiction than most though (or maybe y’all are keeping secret MG WIPs? *Hopeful smile*). So maybe The Nursery Rhymer, or something. Idk. I’m not very good at naming things.

seeing as I am Lilly one of the few on here who actually owns swords and daggers…. I think I get a fair chance at that title
An interesting thought, madame.

Secondary Archivist? Other options could be: annalist (chronicler), scribe, registrar, recorder, chronologer, and custodian of records, according to google.

This is a splendid idea!
Let’s see what the rabble decide. My two cents are “Dragon Warden” or “Serpent Scholar”.

I do technically have a dagger, but your point stands.
You are…. The Bladed Bird Master. Or maybe the Madam of Byrds and Blades. Or in a nod to Hobbiton (since we are a “Rivendell”): Postmistress (acting).
We could probably fit in something like “Second Watch” or “Keeper of the Armory”.

Well, I was going to wait until I had @Power‘s Cactushead done, but as that will take a bit since I’m also starting some commissioned work, (Or trying to…) I’ll go ahead and post something else for the Circle.
Behold, a cat I doodled last Saturday:

Welp. Ain’t that disturbing. Lol.
You did have the short lived title of resident psychopath, but of course as you’re not actually more crazy than any of us, it’s dwindled. ;D
I’m not sure what your trusty messenger pigeons think about you having dual duties, but hey, if it works…

And of course, if anyone actually wants to get a new title we could do that too. Especially as these newer titles are actually coming with duties attached.

SPEAKING of TITLES.
Does anyone have a list of all our titles/remember your title? I agree that we all need them. These dark times call for organization. We can put them on our profiles. I also vote that they be as archaic as possible. I will gladly translate anything to…[Read more]

This is an old RP (I joined it when I first joined KP years ago) and we actually restarted it on page 18.
My mind is officially blown.
Just now, I had to find out how long ago this was started. The answer: 2 1/2 years ago. I had been on for roughly a year by then, so it’s arguably when I was still new to the Kingdom. So, why does this feel like…[Read more]

Aha! I forgot we had a woman on the inside. Splendid. 😎
Your answers cover a lot of my concerns. I kinda guessed it was meant in a way like that, but I definitely think the term “Sanctuary” fits better, with less confusion. I agree that the content guide needs to be clearer if others did not understand it, but hopefully that…[Read more]

(Considering I’ve tried pickled kelp–do not recommend–and eaten deep fried gator {which is quite delicious}, I never called myself normal. Lol.)
What’s some strange foods y’all eat up there?

Because the flavors complement…? It enables me to eat more cheese? XD Seriously, not all cheese and fruit combinations are equal, but gouda and strawberry is close to classic. The sweet acidity of the jelly cuts whatever greasy-sickish feeling I get when eating large amounts of cheese.
It’s not like it’s peanut butter and…[Read more]

And while I might have been raised eating some (what other less *ahem* expirenced people think) strange things, considering I have a mother from the Pacific Northwesr, a father raised by Texans outside of Texas, and grew up on the border of Cajun Land…but cheese and jam is not strange. Even normal people eat it.
