This is getting very interesting! I wonder what shenanigans will follow now they’re all together, yet I’m worried about who is getting struck next.
Amelia is a sweetheart with a spine of steel. I love when she’s on set.
One thing that caught me:
Joseph could still remember the way and rode eagerly along the streets until they…

I’m glad it’s a good one. I’ve imagined telling it to little kids at reenactments (Which is to say, I’ve imagined being in reenactments).
Crater Base sounds interesting! Sibling built stories are the best.
You know, we played some elaborate games with our dolls, Littlest Petshops, and LEGOs, but I think our stuffed animals were the…[Read more]

@freed_and_redeemed @whalekeeper
I wrote a happy scene and a rather sad scene. However, the happy scene would makes very little sense to anyone reading the story, so I’m sharing the sad one. XD

I’ll take care of my 20 snowballs later, but I think I can get y’all’s two dusted off.
That is, if you want some backstory set up for our serial story that’s currently on pause. 🙂

Wellllllllllllllllllllllllll…. XD
There was this truce thing going on.
I still have 10 snowballs available. I am saving them for instant defense against an attack.

I’m fine with women going into battle, as long as they dress, act, and fight like women (and the author doesn’t try to make some weird point out of it). It’s when girls start saying things like “I’m just as good as a guy” or “I’m better than any guy.” Because, while I believe that all people are in fact equal, what the author sounds like…[Read more]

Oh! I like them. The first is very lonesome/dreamy, and the second does well painting its picture.

Hmmmmm.
Ok. I’m seeing a child soldier type. He’s got a past and he doesn’t care what he does because he doesn’t want to care. Yet he also feels he still has something to accomplish. He could be redeemable, or he could be an incredible thorn in the MC’s side. As for who he is… I don’t know. I think he was once connected to…[Read more]

Hmm. Well, he looks like an SC, maybe an anti-hero or antagonist, although I don’t know if he’s a villain.
Is he perchance the oldest of the street orphans?

Thank you! It’s for my new WIP. (Which you probably already know. XD)
I like yours. His character is always interesting to see illustrated visually. The contrast of tender love for his children and the dark realities of his past right next to each other is incredible. ❤️ And the quites add hope. ☺️

That’s… Really bittersweet. It feels very much like it’s inside a person’s head. As the child who grew up going to nursing homes, I like it. The end makes it sweet.

I just had to go look up what a French silk pie is (and am now craving chocolate). I love those, but we typically make chocolate cream pies with merengue like coconut cream pies (which we also make, and pecan pie, pumpkin pie, sweet potato pie, cheesecake…*moan of hunger*)
I don’t remember hearing of this hopscotch, but I’d be…[Read more]
