what needs to happen is a real life date in our real world needs to be set and anyone who wants to RP in the dance should get on that day (though knowing us, they could still be a part of the dance if they got on three months later….)

HEY Y’ALL.

Have you watched the Kingdom Pen youtube channel? It’s gold.

That is, I haven’t watched much of it, but what I’ve seen is splendid. And of course, many of you have probably looked at it before. I don’t know why I didn’t, since Kathleen was actively working on it during my first few years here.

If you want writing advice and some…[Read more]

Rory

He eyed Dante from where he stood near the door. Another second born. They were sort of… odd. But he liked them better than first borns. Except Leo, he like Leo the best. He wondered if he should sneak off to find him… but he also felt bad leaving Dante alone. “Do you… need anything?” he asked.

You know what, I am…[Read more]

@loopylin

Rory has a talent for just absolutely confusing Dante lol

It’s mutual.

@keilah-h

His government takes firstborn boys and brainwashes them into soldiers.

True.

Rory’s brother was taken. Seemingly killed in an accident, and then Rory’s parents are killed trying to stop the soldiers from taking him.

Uh no, Rory is an Agent from book…[Read more]

He nodded. “Oh, well then. That’s why.”

Ok, while I’m thinking about it…

Dwogin: You mean that scout? They’re friends? What am I s’posed to think about that? I don’t understand why this is a…[Read more]

I was planning to, but I don’t think I will. My schedule is probably going to be really packed. But I’ll be interested in hearing how it goes!

Rory

He wondered if blood loss was getting to the boy’s head. He stared at him for a long moment, trying to gauge his awareness. “I’m a first born,” he repeated, slowly.

@loopylin

Rory

He looked at Dante strangely. “No. I’m a first born.”

@theducktator

I doubt I have time.

@elishavet-pidyon @whalekeeper

we could do it in a circle, whaley triggers you and you trigger me, etc.

I think we should leave it here for several reasons.

1. making new posts on KP tends to be glitchy and people don’t get tagged or images don’t work.

2. everyone knows this one does work, and what we are doing is completely sharing art

3.…[Read more]

It snowed yesterday!!!

@whalekeeper @ellette-giselle

Fabulous. Ok, should I make a separate thread for this? It’s entirely about sharing art…

Basically, those in the circle would need to post new art when designated others posted. For starters, it can be Whaley, Ellette, and Myself if y’all want to participate…. Ellette and I need to post art since Whaley did just…[Read more]

*Sigh*

And yet, things were moving full-swing a few years ago. They were opening a publishing house of sorts.

I joined around 2021, several years after that Hiatus notification. I think the KP I saw a was a little different from what was then, but I wouldn’t say it was on Hiatus. (Plus, Story Embers has turned into a fabulous…[Read more]

imitating styles is something I can do very well, so that is an option. I’ve never read either of those books, but a few illustrations is what I had in mind. I planned to do them like the pictures on retro sewing patterns and books from the time period.

@power

love it!!! 😂

@ellette-giselle

Great!

I think… It could go either way. I think something like Scout: Secret of the Swamp would be good.(Also Nancy Drew did the same thing) Occasional illustrations, half or full page, but never two pages. It would be fun to imitate a drawing style of the time.

@whalekeeper

awww! So cute!
