How far through the story are we?
The beginning. Literally. Like, there is a LOT more to go. 1/8 maybe?
Gotchya. Were there others besides Sabina who did not convert?
yes. I mentioned that there were……. was that not clear enough? should I try to mention a bit more about that? By the time they leave the village a majority of…[Read more]

Anyone want to see some sketches for LTBL that I did yesterday? Here they are.
I don’t think I like her eyes…… I’ll have to fix them.

Ugh. It ate my response. I’m going to cry and give up! I can’t do this anymore!
Ok, I’ve gotten a hold of myself. First let’s start with something funny.
I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror (some were probably named Aaron) and were…

@linus-smallprint You are my only hope!
I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror (some were probably named Aaron) and were suddenly silenced. – Obi-wan Kenobi (bit in parenthesis added)
Okay, I have thought through more of what Sara and Whaley have been saying. I’m sorry to…[Read more]

Thanks!!!! (:
I like being a sneaky time-traveller. (Huh, apparently we Canadians spell this word with two ‘l’s. Good to know.)
Ohhh that’s interesting!!!
Since I’ll be leaving KP for a bit, I won’t be asking for any more critiques but I’ll leave you the link in case you or anyone else wants to read it for funzies. XD

oh nooooo!! Say it isn’t so!! @linus-smallprint You are my only hope! Tell me Aaron isn’t that bad!! 😭 😭
ok, I’m overreacting. But….. Aaron is my favorite character of all time, and I have written 63 full length novels and countless short stories… so that’s saying a lo…[Read more]

@linus-smallprint Not really, no species is all good or all bad. There’s good and bad of any type.
And yeah! I really like the Drachenheul too, I was trying something new when I made them. The one in my drawing is named Dr. Humboldt. He’s an ex-military medic.
I don’t know why I always give them human heads. For this particular story, it’s…[Read more]

You don’t have to do a “ship”
I didn’t for Against All Odds. I just skipped it. If you want some ideas, you can try listening to Sarah and my playlists.

sorry this took a minute! KP ate it and I only now just realized that it didn’t send. 🙁
The days passed, and Turin, Noah, Aaron, Darrien and the others continued to tell all they met of Christ’s love and sacrifice. Many did not want to listen, saying there was too much going on to consider such things. T…

Main Ship is like the main “couple” or romance. Even if neither of them fall in love…if people are “shipping” two of your characters together that means that they are rooting for your characters to fall in love.
So even if neither of them actually are a “thing”, the main ship could be the two characters that your readers seem…[Read more]

No, Eloy and Cassian are full brothers (idk if I said that right lol). They have the same mother and father– mother is Indie and father is Azazel. Lilitu was adopted, because his parents were Jraldath and Selena (AKA Kaden and Sevryn from the Prologue). The reason Lilitu isn’t part Pythonos is that he was born before his…[Read more]

I’m 21. The other guy is 20.
NO WONDER!! I’ve been thinking “how is he so good with his critiques!!”
Oh yes, and what Linus said about Aaron goofing off and doing the handstand on the border is what I mean about showing a LITTLE immaturity. If you make him a little…idk, funnier and give his personality mor…

Ohhh that explains why your writing’s so good!!!! It all makes sense now!!! lol

There is one who Aaron kind of reminds me of who is a year younger than me, being 20 years old
Wait, you’re twenty? Or did I just completely misunderstand that.
Unless I missed something, this side of his personality has kind of disappeared since he met Turin.
I certainly will keep that in mind. I feel like none of the situations…[Read more]

Ok, here’s the next part….. and then things get bad. lol.
Morning dawned, and after breakfast and a time of prayer, the men and boys went off to train with the soldiers.
Turin was a born fighter, and the way of the sword seemed natural and easy to him. Aaron, on the other hand, found sword craft less to…

Okay…I’m so sorry…I’m not the best at critiqueing 😣😭😭😭😭
Actually I’m horrible at it but oh wellOK, in the begining I said that Aaron was 18!! Turin was a year or two older Sabina was 16! Does that fix it???
Well…you should be able to tell a character’s age based on how they act, without the author saying that. Since both…[Read more]

@savannah_grace2009 I love all of them! I also like how they’re all basically human but with powers and different colored skin–that’s typically what I end up doing too. And don’t worry, my creature rant will be long also.

Here is a list of the races in my book. Note that each race listed appears human except for the color of their skin, hair, eyes, and blood, and their powers of course.
Azer: Azers are pyrokinetics and can create and manipulate fire with their mind. It isn’t just the cliche “can shoot fire from their hands and from…[Read more]
