“That’s my point!” she took a deep breath.  “I’m more likely to freeze up and get all of us killed than actually be able to protect myself. It would actually be more useful if you killed me right now, than if I tried to learn how to use a sword.” she pursed her lips and fixed her gaze on the swirling patterns on the floor.
