It was a great episode! That moment where Alan realizes he is about to rename victum, especially. Alan’s changed quite a lot since he made victum. I’m also mad at victum for destroying the image the stick figures made Alan in Feel Better -An Acctual Short.
What are your thoughts on The Dark Lord…[Read more]

Yes, Angas is the next MC, and he also has to wrestle with this (the book being titled The King’s Arrow, and the question being, can he shoot at the enemy in the name of the King? i.e. God)
Please let me know what you think of the others. I would love to hear.
Okay. Will do!

I’ve read the first Crown and Covenant book, and here are my thoughts:
It was all right. It’s not the most polished book (I take it the ending was written the way it was to foreshadow Angus being the main character in the second book? I also did find some of the point of view changes wierd), but still, it was a fine story. I t…[Read more]

@ellette-giselle
Cool you are writing a book with a left-handed protagonist. I appreciate seeing writers doing that from time to time. What things do you do left-handed that really stand out?Â
It isn’t really a big deal for me. Most of the time, I’m not really conscious about it. There are some things I have even noticed I tend to do with my…[Read more]

You’re welcome!
(Odd how it’s so clear in your mind and then someone tells you what they though you said and it’s not at all what you meant. I find this in writing and in speaking.)
Yup. Another reason for proofreading.
If you have another book later on that doesn’t have Christian rebellion as a major component, I will be hap…[Read more]

You’re welcome!
For Alec’s arc, I was expecting him to do something in the climax that would impact either Sara or Cole. Prehapes both of them. Something like helping Sara, telling Witlock that he can’t work there anymore, helping Cole ‘protect’ Sara, or even standing up to Cole and trying to stop him.
I think chapter 55 wouldn’t…[Read more]

Don’t worry, I didn’t think you were frustrated. But yeah, we can discuss it for fun if you want, even if just to help you figure out why you believe what you believe. Probably on a separate forum from here, though.

doesn’t make any sense.
Essentially, I’m saying I don’t believe it is right not to help the Jews, but I don’t believe it would be right to do those things to protect them either. So I can trust in God to provide a way of escape where I don’t have to do any of those things to protect the Jews.
Does that make sense?
But yeah, I can s…[Read more]

All right. I won’t push it any further on my end, as I don’t want to turn this into a point of division. But yeah, I probably won’t read your second book, as I would be too distracted by this issue. Thank you for understanding and respecting my position.
As an aside, it might be interesting if you added a character like me to…[Read more]

With all that said, I still am trying to figure out all that I believe and why I believe it on these issues. This is also why I want to hear what you have to say for your side, to see if I should maybe reconsider my side, as I am doing with passifism. And maybe in exchange, I can give you a few things to think about…[Read more]

As for the church leaving… they did. They left the city, but there is no place to run to, and while they did go underground, there is still the fact that 1. the will be discovered, it’s only a matter of time, and 2. evil is running rampant and unchecked.
Okay, that makes sense.
Read the Crown and Covenant Tri…
