All right. Thank you for confirming your interest. You know, maybe I will remove the deadlines from chapters, giving you more time to read it. (Don’t ask why I had those in the first place, I’m not entirely sure myself.) I also might do what you do, Sara, putting the link to my project in my status update. I…[Read more]

For some reason, some of those tags did not work. Let’s try that again.

Finished early this week. I might be able to get Chapter the 9th to you soon as well.
If any of you are gardeners/farmers and have experience in dealing with pesty bugs, I would like to know what you think of how this problem is dealt with in this chapter. How realistic are the sol…[Read more]

I am laughing right now, mostly because I relate to drawing a character, looking back on it, and realizing how awful it looks. Yup, I’ve been there before. If it makes you feel better, I was imagining Turin looking even older for whatever reason, perhaps in his forties despite the fact you mentioned he was a young man. I also…[Read more]

I have read everything you have in the link you posted on your profile. (Up to Chapter 16. Double checking, that is everything you have posted so far, right?)
I was a bit confused at the beginning. Until Sef’s Mani became pregnant, I could not figure out the story’s plot. I first thought this story would be all about Lilitu…[Read more]

I read the latest part, I don’t have much to say about it, sorry. (Through if there is anything specific you would like to ask us about, I will probably have something to say.)
Nice illustration of Sabina. She looks a little more European than I was expecting, but I guess from what you have said about her country, that makes…[Read more]

Haha, I guess there’s no way to know who has the smallest handwriting, but we both win that title in our respective irl social circles.

I will be working on Chapter the 8th this week. In the mean time, here are some more fun facts about a couple more characters.
Alan Wherl
Age: 22
Race: Wizard (though still mostly human)
Dominate Hand: Left
Favourite Ice Cream: Chocolate
Occupation: Solider

I was wondering when the next part was coming…
Turin, though surprised, spoke gently. “Sabina––”
“Don’t Sabina me!”
This made me laugh.
I am curious to see where this is going. Right now, the village seems more curious than anything, and I wonder if Sabina will turn most of them against Aaron. I suspect she will eventual…[Read more]

Yes, they would have ice cream. The reason I included it is because it is a good question to ask as you develop your characters. If your character is developed well enough, the answer will come somewhat naturally (though I do often have to stop and think about it).
Rour like things to be neat and orderly, so I knew he would not like…[Read more]

I have been working on developing Rour’s character. I’m not going to give you everything from it (unless you really want to, this is one file that will not spoil the upcoming story), but here is some fun trivia about the character:
Trivia:
- As a child, Rour did not like stories whe…

Now, the next part is important. DO NOT decide which idea you are going to use. Give it a rest for a day. Allow the ideas to mature. Then come back to it the next day and decide which idea you would like to use.
I’ve never heard that, but it makes sense since I usually tweak my new ideas the day after thinking of them.
This is s…[Read more]

Um… Okay. Here we go.
Character:
This is how I imagine my Linus Smallprint Persona, the voice I narrate my books. A balance between witty and trustworthy. The type of person who wears spectacles on the end of his nose, looking overtop of them with a kind, knowledgeable smile. You can expect him to have a bit of nerdy fun, but to also…[Read more]

no I’m doin some kind of wacky drawing of some kind of reality where 16 KPers are what I would imagine them being if they were animals, people or objects and stuff…makes no sense, but I promise it will be funny (maybe a little offending to some people but…I’m gonna do it anyway.)

Could you elaborate some more, please? Do you mean do we picture ourselves as a character, an object, a colour or an animal? Or do you mean when we picture ourselves as an animal, what animal do we picture ourselves as? And, if this is the case, for character, do you mean how we picture what we might be like as a character, or what character from…[Read more]
