I’m in agreement with @Daeus on the first paragraph you wrote. But hey! For an 11 o’clock idea… I’m intrigued. So here are my thoughts. 😀
When you said “gives the door” I immediately got a picture of the man handing a small door to the boy. The door could be a talking door (hence the sulky bit). I like the clock on the door idea. Maybe the door…[Read more] -

I love this book! I’ve read it once already and I’m actually going to read it again for a literary analysis class.
I, personally love the BBC Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle. I’m not really sure which ones are being discussed at the moment.

“This is a story about two children. Actually, it’s story about two children and a mischievous and slightly sulky door, but I mustn’t get ahead, must I?
At birth these two children were given the names Nicholas Wilbur Rothelburg and Scarlett Jaylie Rothelburg. They also happened to have been given these names at almost the exact same time, on the…[Read more] -

@bluejay But Edmund was only infuriating the most in tLtWatW. Not Prince Caspian. I just hate the way Peter says, “No, no retreat! I can still do this!”
Really!!!!!
Come one, you hold the lives of armies in your hands and yet you just be a jerk and say “Oh, don’t worry, my plans ruined, but I have to prove I’m better than Prince Caspian. Let’s…[Read more]

@zoe-wingfeather What is her name I can’t remember it? It starts with a ‘g’ I think. I’m working on making the ultimate Igiby trivia. (We always call it Igiby, even after we found out it was really Wingfeather) Such as…

@winter-rose You got it? Now I have to do one that maybe less people will be familiar with.
“Pa should have made more money off of snake oil… there’s just not a lot of people who want to oil a snake!”
Now, take that with a grain of salt, because the words may not be exactly right. But if someone has seen what it’s from, they’ll know it. I just…[Read more]

You guys should see this video Studio C did, Teddy’s Story Joint. It is hilarious, and has Jane Austin in it. A great point too.

@hope You’re welcome. *insert weird grin that borders on madness* I’m sure you can visualize one.
@emma-flournoy @daeus @kate-flournoy hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha back at yah. I literally came up with that on the fly, but it’s my best of that type… cause I’ve never written a poem about a specific person before.

@Mark-Kamibaya N….oooooo clue. At all. Man, you do really hard ones. Or maybe my movie repertoire isn’t as expansive as I think? How about this?

@daeus That’s good that you resolved it with your mom. I forget sometimes about how my family doesn’t like something and i stick it in a story, and then they don’t like it. Oops. But I’m glad you’re learning. I need to do a lot of that.

@bluejay Ahh; this is fantastic. One of my favorite books. Probably don’t have time to join you all in this, but in the context of what makes the book so Austen-esque, I think that that character complexity, moral depth, understated wit, and clever social satire all play into what made Austen such a great author, and what makes Pride and Prejudice…[Read more]

Yes, Peter is the real jerk, and that’s why I don’t like him better than Caspian, but Caspian still had his jerk moments. But he’s awesome in the VotDT. Edmund… I loved him in the Prince Caspian movie. Especially in the castle attack. Corissa and I were at a…[Read more] - Load More
