@kina-lamb @jane-maree I have an audience, then.
@kate-flournoy I thought that…and figured I didn’t want him melting my chair. -

@daeus Yes, your Majesty. 😉
@kate-flournoy I’m not quite sure how you’d go about doing that, but if you insist. (I do plan to post it, as soon as I make Daeus not so grumpy all the time in it) -

@kate-flournoy Both. I’m writing, and handing out pizza. Pizza’s awesome. Actually, I’m finally finishing that story I started so long ago, about @daeus as king. So close to being done. 😛 There are so many parts of it though. Should be 7 or 8 when I’m done.

@kina-lamb Haha! Yes! I know what you mean! It’s a hard call between Romans and James and Corinthians and all the other books! But Romans ends up in the lead. Well, the only passages I’ve memorized are Psalm 100 and 1 John 1 (also an incredible book), but otherwise I haven’t. Do you know what Scripture Typer is?

@dragon-snapper Star Wars is an example of space opera. Your story could be planetary romance or generic SF, tho. I guess I mostly wanted to clarify if it had a large space element or not.
My hands-down favorite sci-fi series is the Ender’s Game Quartet by Orson Scott Card. Be forewarned that there’s some language in the series, if that bothers…[Read more]

@daeus 9 to 11! I think I would go blind by reading that long! Wait, maybe that’s my problem. *note to self: set aside time to read* 😛
@Audrey-caylin Don’t worry, I haven’t read Harry Potter, and I have no idea what Ravenclaw is, except for the thing at the end of a Raven’s foot. -

These are my nicer, more polished goals. 😛
In retrospect, I was able to complete my first novel (yay) but that was really my only goal. Here, I have a lot!
Since I’ve just begun my second novel, I’d like to finish planning out all the theme work and the scenes and the chapters. By summer, and after all this planning, I’d like to make it through…[Read more] -

@jess @ethryndal That is helpful: thanks!
@kate-flournoy Magnets. I like magnets. Thanks for the idea. (hehehehe)
@jane-maree The nice thing about not knowing what you’re doing is that you get to wing it. 😛 And I do have the world and plot set up, actually, I just have to know if there is any rhyme or rythm to sci-fi in itself. Thanks though!…[Read more] -

@daeus I’m trying to post my goals, but it says I’ve already done so, but it’s not showing up? Do you know why that is?

@dragon-snapper What sub-genre of sci-fi are you looking at writing? Hard sci-fi? Space opera? Steampunk? Something else? I haven’t written much sci-fi, but I’ve read a decent bit, so hearing what type of sci-fi you’re looking at writing would help me know what to best recommend on the reading front.
