I have a red-and-white toothbrush too. WE’RE TOTALLY TOOTHBRUSH TWINS.
So far I have resisted the Pinterest Vortex Of Doom. I can’t shake the feeling that I would be sacrificing some crucial part of my masculinity if I were to get on Pinterest. But being a writer and an INFJ, I also feel like I have a sort of profound duty to be on there,…[Read more]

@kristian-snow Hey there! Noticed you’re an OYANer, so I thought I’d drop by and say hi. 🙂 What’s your forum name? On OYAN, I mean. :p

Hey-o! 🙂 Well, it was Kristian. (Not sure if my account still exists, since I haven’t logged in for almost two years.) I figured my name was unique-ish enough that I could afford to be lazy and not get all fancy with a username XD I believe I talked to you once or twice, though it was probably just to comment on a video you posted, or something. 🙂

Hello, Cass! Fantastic description of writing, too–I can tell you practice what you preach. 😉 Keep it up! We need more word painters.
So are you working on any stories right now? If so, what are they about? -

Hahaha oh that’s awesome. Intriguing that its the most perfectly structured language… what you’d expect I guess as it was crafted, it didn’t evolve socially. Definitely will be looking up that site, thank you!

Late replies are fine 🙂
I think the film doesn’t do the book justice — but then when does a film ever? The main thing I have with the film is that it wasn’t true to the novel’s internal philosophy or intent in many ways, but I enjoyed watching it and thought it was well done. What about yourself?

Hi, Shaina! Welcome to the Kingdom Pen forum! Hope you enjoy it here! We’re still pretty small, but more people have been starting to join recently.
It’s cool that you write fantasy! Feel free to post excerpts of anything you would like feedback on in the “critiques” section of the forum. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask. 🙂

Is interesting. Especially as Jane Eyre is the last book I’d view as an accurate representation of Biblical gender roles. I studied it for a semester for literature at school though, and it surprised me. Not entirely accurate, but more than I expected.
Mm yes, I know what you mean. I tend to go for the concepts behind the characters more…[Read more]
