So, what have you written? Book-wise, short-story-wise, poem-wise… what sort of writer are you?Well, so far I have published one historical fiction novel/novella for middleschoolers. It’s about 45,000 words long. Before that, I had written a little bit in a fantasy novel. So, I’m fairly new to this author gig, but I have learned a lot in about the year and a half.
I’d say that I’m a fiction writer.
Hey, you’ve published? I’d love to hear about your experience. Did you self publish or have a publisher? How did you advertise? How’s it turning out?
And say, what’s the historical fiction book on?

I self-published it through Amazon and CreateSpace. Haven’t done much for advertising except for making the book free. I have sold quite a few books in person, but not as many online.
The book is about a teenager from Iowa during the first year of the Civil War

Historical fiction, sci-fi, western, humor… and dipping my toes into an obscure genre of fantasy. So yeah. I’ll borrow your phrase that I’m a fiction writer. Good answer. ;P
Wow, that’s lot of variety! I’m hoping to write a futuristic, medieval, dystopia, this year for NaNoWriMo.
