Why do you ask? (To you, Whaley, not Master Smith)

Oh my. Ok. Um…
We know what his favorite cookie is. 🤔
Ack, that’s a good question but my brain is blanking. Something with writing or his time in Africa…
Maybe which one if his characters is his favorite?
*Wonders if I wasted my hypothetical question* XD

Yes! Agreed.
At least Martin made the right choice. I would argue his death scene was the most frightening one I’ve written.

Oh really? I love them. It’s so fun to start tying them together in subtle ways.
In the first one, all three end up frequenting the same cafe at different times, and only a few readers pick that up because I never state the name, but I describe the surroundings the same. Things like that.
One of the MC’s works with another…[Read more]

Ooo! Cool!
I did one with the first book in the series and I’ve decided to keep going with it thought the whole trilogy.

Nope, he’s an MC. But it’s a three-way POV, so there are two other MCs.
He’s also an interesting character because of his job…. so he has that going for him.

I know poor Aelic. This is my fourth time though that scene as a draft, (read it several times just for fun) and it still gets me. Ugh.
(I’m wondering what’s happening to Aiden now that Martin believed and died too. It would have been tough to see his brother and his cousin killed like that.)
I know!!! The poor kid! 😱
Guess we’…[Read more]

no, not really! I like her ideas. I have written quiet moody characters, but I don’t know if they’re quite like this.
I have a current moody character, but he’s not super likeable. (except that he happens to be all my reader’s favorite) he’s doing the right thing, but he kinda hates the world. (and has good reason to) But then he…[Read more]

Elishavet Elroi replied to the topic Is there a trope you don't see very often that you love? in the forum Topic of the Week 1 week, 4 days ago
The wise fool!!!Where one character is expected to be foolish/silly and instead is incredibly wise. So, there’s a book, A Letter for the King, that took this trope literally, and is spectacular. In the book, Tirillo is the king’s fool, but he’s also secretly a paladin knight and has this incredible wisdom that shows up in the…[Read more]

I’m sorry! I didn’t know Aelic was your favorite!
Leo? At the moment?
Uhhh…… possibly in an Agent interrogation room……

I think Leo needs you.
I kidnapped him and have been injecting him into random scenes of “flash fiction” with Rory for fun, just to see what would happen should I introduce a Leo-like character.
He keeps dying.
Tell your dude to stop saving poor lost characters. It doesn’t end well. 😭

Good-bye, Aelic
yeah. 😭
