Thank you! I know, I was thinking the same thing when I looked it over again. 😂
Glad it feels realistic. I kept breaking his character here in the other drafts, so I’m really working on taking it more slowly. (Even if it makes me want to shake some sense into him!)
First, how would they get Jonathan back into the…[Read more]

~FEEDBACK~
The Narrow Path Trilogy Book 2
Character:
~ Which character(s) did you find the most compelling/relatable/believable and why?Martha. I just really liked her and could relate as an older sister. Some of her struggles felt similar to my own.
Eric was really interesting and fun. I also really liked James.
Alan…[Read more]

You gotta set it up like one of those quizzes someday. You know, the one people always use for scheduling group events that I can never figure out how to make.

I always name them after book or movie characters. (mostly books)
For instance, this time around we have Mathias and Cornflower (Redwall)
Puss-in-boots and Kitty Softpaws (Puss In Boots)
Matimeo and Iris (Matimeo A Tale Of Redwall)
And Joe Shanks (Green Ember)
Try books and see who works. I did Jane Austen once, Lord of the Rings,…[Read more]

Good chapters! The rebellion is reminding me of the church meetings in my story.
Jonathan’s adjustment is pretty realistic. He’s struggling, but wants to please the people who are teaching him despite himself.
I don’t really know why they can’t just let him go–that was a bit blurry for me. I know he was captured and taken…[Read more]

Aww, they sound adorable! Sir Fluffyface is such a cute name 🤣
Name them after characters. That’s always a solid choice. 😉

Four new chapters today! 😳
Don’t feel like you have to read them all right away if you don’t have time. This is the end of Part 2.

Hold the phone! @theducktator Just found the old update where we were last coming up with kitten names, and you suggested Sir Fluffyface! I think that’s awesome! I think I might just name my favorite that cuz I think it fits so well!

I am definitely behind already lol. There were some unexpected social plans that messed up my writing plans for this weekend. New goal is to have something to share by the end of Wednesday hopefully.

I haven’t seen it yet, but I’m hoping to.
I’m glad they didn’t completely ruin it. (though I still can’t make myself call that girl Astrid. Astrid will always be blond and blue-eyed in my mind)
Did they try to push any political stuff or hint at weird relationships?

I do agree with the people who commented on the end of this last chapter; there probably should be some more context before they teach him how to fight.
But I liked the training sessions. 🙂
